My husband and I traveled to White Bird from Caldwell on June 25, 2020 and stayed for a week at a beautiful little well-cared for campground about 3 miles this side of White Bird right on the Salmon River. The RV park had just been sold a few days prior to an awesome couple, Bill & Pam. We immediately connected with these two people, in fact, the new owner invited Bill to accompany him to the Vet Center in Grangeville to enjoy breakfast one day. The camp was clean, friendly, quiet during the quiet times and the bathrooms are immaculate. I would return to Swiftwater RV Park in a heartbeat and brings some friends with us! We would also highly recommend it to others who are looking for a fun, peaceful getaway. Thanks, Bill & Pam!!

I have to say Pam And Bill were very accommodating and Kelly the camp host alongside her Beautiful Golden Retriever was so pleasant and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. We stayed in a tent next to the Salmon River and just enjoyed the beauty of the landscape not just of the river and the beach area but of the RV park itself. Bill And Pam as well as as Kelly work very hard to keep the grounds in top notch condition. The bathroom/ shower room spotless very clean. Overall if your looking for a Great little Rv park plan it at Swift water. They Were AWESOME.

New owners at Swiftwater and it already shows. We were welcomed with metaphorical open arms and shown to our perfect right on the river site. Love the fact that you can chose your site ahead of time. All if the on the water sites are great. We really appreciated being invited to sit around the camp fire and meet fellow travelers. It felt like an adult summer camp as we toasted marshmallows and swapped stories. That’s what RV camping is all about.

For those with tents, there’s a great separate tent area by the house. The laundry and shower facilities are SO clean and in the house, so it feels like you are staying at a B&B.

Good location but the internet was a big problem. We picked this campground because they advertised they had internet and we needed it because we had our granddaughter traveling with us and needs to sign-on to the internet everyday to do home schooling. We couldn't sign-on during our stay and had to drive to town every morning to get internet service. We ended up ending our stay one day early and just left and forfeited our camping fee for that night.

Thank you Rick for your review and we are glad you enjoyed our location. We are new owners of this park as of June 24, 2020, and the internet is one area of concern where we would also like to see an improvement. We are exploring any options for updating our Wi-Fi and we hope to have a better system in place in the future. Our internet at this time can vary with it's reception in our canyon area.

This was our third stay here in our Class C motorhome. It is the perfect place to camp when traveling along Hwy 95 and would make a nice destination stay. It is only a short drive from the highway, but far enough from it to not hear any road noise. The setting is lovely along the Salmon River, with the dull rumble of a downstream rapid providing nice white noise." The sites are close to one another but we usually have no one next to us, and the other campers have always been respectful. There is a grassy strip between the camp sites and the river that is a great place to set up chairs and watch the river go by. Take a short walk upstream and you'll find a nice sandy beach for sunbathing, swimming, fishing, and tossing a stick for your dog. Swiftwater is dog-friendly but do watch out for the occasional goathead (puncture vine). The best thing about Swiftwater are its awesome hosts. We called ahead traveling south on our last trip because we didn't have a reservation, and they had a spot ready for us and greeted us when we arrived after dark. We will definitely be back, hopefully for more than one night!

Along with being a beautiful spot, it is in great proximity to get to the Snake River as well. Pam and Bill do a great job keeping the facilities clean and enjoyable. The Mesh Internet Network is surprisingly fast and able to accommodate multiple devices.

Stayed here for three nights and was a great time. It’s a short walk to get to the Salmon river where you can sit in the water and cool off. We were able to drive from here to our jet boat tour-windy road but good shape. Staff were wonderful and very helpful

Stopped here for one night and stayed for two because of an issue with our vehicle. Everything was clean and friendly and welcoming. The campsite was perfect and the extra amenities made it feel like visiting old friends. They even gave us a ride to the town over the pass to pick up the truck!

What a nice RV park right on the river. The wifi was great, the owners are super nice and the views were great. It was nice and quiet. The sights are pretty close to each other and getting in and out was a little tricky, look at google maps and plan to drive in the median and you are good to go.

This is a great little RV park on the banks of the Little Salmon. Very clean bathrooms, laundry and more. Well taken care of, nice owners. Sites can feel sort of close if its their busy season but its a peaceful place to stay. Highly recommended.
