What a nice RV park right on the river. The wifi was great, the owners are super nice and the views were great. It was nice and quiet. The sights are pretty close to each other and getting in and out was a little tricky, look at google maps and plan to drive in the median and you are good to go.
Along with being a beautiful spot, it is in great proximity to get to the Snake River as well. Pam and Bill do a great job keeping the facilities clean and enjoyable. The Mesh Internet Network is surprisingly fast and able to accommodate multiple devices.
This is a great little RV park on the banks of the Little Salmon. Very clean bathrooms, laundry and more. Well taken care of, nice owners. Sites can feel sort of close if its their busy season but its a peaceful place to stay. Highly recommended.
I have to say Pam And Bill were very accommodating and Kelly the camp host alongside her Beautiful Golden Retriever was so pleasant and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. We stayed in a tent next to the Salmon River and just enjoyed the beauty of the landscape not just of the river and the beach area but of the RV park itself. Bill And Pam as well as as Kelly work very hard to keep the grounds in top notch condition. The bathroom/ shower room spotless very clean. Overall if your looking for a Great little Rv park plan it at Swift water. They Were AWESOME.
This was a very well run very accessible very well kept campground we have a large 44' class A and we were able to get it out with no issue while towing a pickup truck the owners were very friendly and knowledgeable she also was a massage therapist and gave wonderful massage right on the shores of the salmon river
Stopped here for one night and stayed for two because of an issue with our vehicle. Everything was clean and friendly and welcoming. The campsite was perfect and the extra amenities made it feel like visiting old friends. They even gave us a ride to the town over the pass to pick up the truck!
New owners at Swiftwater and it already shows. We were welcomed with metaphorical open arms and shown to our perfect right on the river site. Love the fact that you can chose your site ahead of time. All if the on the water sites are great. We really appreciated being invited to sit around the camp fire and meet fellow travelers. It felt like an adult summer camp as we toasted marshmallows and swapped stories. That’s what RV camping is all about. For those with tents, there’s a great separate tent area by the house. The laundry and shower facilities are SO clean and in the house, so it feels like you are staying at a B&B. First photo attached is the view from site #16
Good location but the internet was a big problem. We picked this campground because they advertised they had internet and we needed it because we had our granddaughter traveling with us and needs to sign-on to the internet everyday to do home schooling. We couldn't sign-on during our stay and had to drive to town every morning to get internet service. We ended up ending our stay one day early and just left and forfeited our camping fee for that night.
Stayed here for three nights and was a great time. It’s a short walk to get to the Salmon river where you can sit in the water and cool off. We were able to drive from here to our jet boat tour-windy road but good shape. Staff were wonderful and very helpful
My friend and I are bikepacking across the USA this summer and got to stay at Swiftwater when passing through White Bird. I would recommend this site to anyone bikepacking or camping or rv-ing or anything! The staff was so friendly and we were so happy to have included showers, coin laundry, beach access, and a great picnic space with wifi and outlets! So thankful to Swiftwater for an amazing experience!
