Hotel's Favorite
We were greeted by a gracious and efficient front desk clerk who provided a choice of rooms. We had a spacious king room, which was spotlessly clean and quiet. We had a great night's sleep in a super comfy bed. The inn was convenient both to I-90 and the historic downtown, which was within walking distance. Highly recommend the Wallace Inn.

Beautiful motel, but it was the help that impressed me. Not only did they respond to my needs, but they were full of information about historic Wallace. Above all else it was clear they loved their community.

I love the Wallace Inn! Great family spot, super convenient, and an incredibly friendly staff. My family and I love staying there on our way back and forth from Montana. Pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake for us.

We visit Wallace often and stay at the Wallace Inn. We like its proximity to town, the rooms are great and the pool and hot are perfect after a long day of playing. A delicious and convenient breakfast awaits in the morning. Good spot all year-round.

I was traveling through and just pulled off. Was kindly greeted by Camie. She worked hard to get me a decent rate and provided good info on where to eat. Room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely return due to the customer service. Awesome and highly recommended.

We were deceived by the advertising. We wanted to relax a day or so after a long trip and enjoy the amenities. But the pool was murky and evil looking (you couldn’t see the bottom); the sauna was out of order; the hot tub had crud in it. The bed was an old style mattress with creaky springs (haven’t experienced that in many years). Two floors but no elevator. Dirty carpet in hallway. But worst of all, no food except in their attached restaurant, and no microwave in the room. To make a cup of tea, while not feeling well, I had to get dressed and go down to the lobby to get hot water. Very poor quality for the money. We stayed in other places that were cheaper and much nicer!

This Inn is basically the only game in town, if you like a typical hotel atmosphere. The other hotels in Wallace are old, funky and not attractive looking from the street anyway. This is a good location, right off freeway, five minute walk from town, relatively quiet. The inside is dated and a bit worn, the room was clean but dated as well. Bed was ok, bathroom was ok. We asked for a room in the backside to avoid noice from the freeway across the street. Pool like really nice and great for families. Noise level was average, lots of room doors slamming. Breakfast was poor quality, service was poor from a rather rude waitress. I would avoid it if you can. Nice courtesy coffee in lobby in am. The manager Rick is a cycling expert and local eccentric, he will go out of his way to help you with any questions or needs if you are there to ride your bikes, what a hoot! They will gladly store your bike inside if you ask them. Not a lot of value for a fairly steep price, again not much choice in this small town.

Stayed one night here on our way to Washington. The room was pretty clean but in need of some updating. Room seemed outdated. Bathroom exhaust fan didn't work so mirror steamed up while taking a shower. Only outlets to charge phones are on the desk.

There are not many choices in Wallace Idaho so you may be stuck with this place and they know it. The hotel is old - 70s style. Carpets and tile are not clean and need to be replaced. Our room was gross, dirty. The hotel is understaffed. The front desk people are very nice but there was no maintenance person available to fix a running toilet. The food server was the only one working in the restaurant. She was literally running table to table trying her best to take care of customers. This is not a two hundred dollars a night hotel!

Responded Oct 7, 2022
Jack, we regret the condition of the guest room and appreciate your fresh set of eyes. Our housekeeping and maintenance teams have been stretched by a busy season of full houses and labor shortages affecting many hospitality operations. We constantly strive to meet the challenge of maintaining all our guest rooms and spaces to our high standards. We apologize for the disappointment under these circumstances. As this season winds downs, we look forward to a thorough maintenance review of our facility including HVAC, carpets, drains, floors, etc. Thank you for your review. We hope you might return in the future to see the Wallace Inn sparkling again.
