Room was not clean. Website advertised complementary breakfast but did not provide a breakfast. Staff was not friendly. We left a day early and they were nice about allowing us to leave early. Rooms need to be updated, dirty carpet removed. Hotel is attractive on outside but lacks in their rooms

Hotel is nothing spectacular. But it is clean and comfortable. David at the front desk was outstanding. He was extremely friendly, and knowledgeable of the area. We were there to bike the Hiawatha Trail, and he was spot on with his advice.

My wife and I stay in Kellogg during our recent bike trip but we were very fortunate to use the bike shuttle services provided by the Wallace Inn. Manager Rick Shaffer picked us up in Kellogg, drove us to the trailhead for the Route of the Hiawatha. Along the way we were treated to a fabulous history of the area and were given insight that enhanced our biking experience. After our ride, Rick picked us up and at our request dropped us off at Mullan where we began our Trail of the Coeur d’Alene ride. Rick is everything you could want in a guide and an area ambassador. Thanks again Rick for a fabulous experience! Mike and Renee Malaki Sacramento, CA

Clean room, friendly staff, conveniently located near downtown and Coeur d’Alene Trail. Downside was poor, sporadic Internet service. It is very difficult to use cellular data in the town of Wallace, so we hoped to use the hotel’s WIFI. Tried Friday night-got shut out. Tried again Saturday morning. Still no access. I called the front desk and the clerk there said this occurs frequently. The hotel has several WIFI channels, so I asked if another would work better. The response was no. We were only there to ride the Trail so access wasn’t paramount, however it was difficult to check out restaurants and tourist sites without the Internet. If we had been traveling on business, lack of Internet service would have been disastrous.

Our room was neat and clean. The staff was more than friendly and helpful. Dave knows the area well and told us much about the community and bike trails. It was so pleasant that even though we were there only 3 nights, we felt like we were home. The adjoining restaurant, although not part of the hotel, served a tasty breakfast; we are vegetarians and were able to find ample selections. We biked the Hiawatha Trail and loved it. Magnificent scenery and not a difficult ride. The surface is mostly sharp gravel so keep in mind the possibility of a flat tire. There are trails to Kellogg, Mullin, abandoned Burke and others. A very unique place!
