Stayed at the Brooks May/June . I had a nice clean and comfortable room . The food was nice and the Staff are the best by far . One Waitress ( Julie ) was fantastic. The owners where outstanding . I would recommend this hotel great value all round . I will be staying here again in 2017 . I... More

Our room looked like there had been a fight to the death with cups of coffee, the mattress had cigar burns in it, and the a/c didn't work. Since we were only there to sleep at night and mountain bile all day it was a minor inconvenience. If you need cheap and don't mind a sleazy look- then this place... More

I stayed at the Brook’s Hotel in Historic Wallace Idaho for a period of 4 days. The hotel itself has a diner, bar and beauty salon. I really enjoyed the experience. My room was very livable. I had a little refrigerator, a microwave and my bed was comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly. They are very knowledgeable about the history... More

Travelling through Northern Idaho in the Winter is always challenging and can be dangerous as well... That's why I was relieved to find the small Silver Mining town of Wallace, Idaho. Driving through the main street area I spied the Brooks Hotel and was immediately smitten by the curbside appeal. I loved the old school charm and look and saw... More

The staff are nice, the price was very affordable, but the room was old, dingy, and run down. It might have been just as clean other hotels but with so much going on, it didn't feel like it. We had a room with three queen beds, which allowed us to spread out. The room included a kitchen with full size... More

While the room is nice and basic, it is the location of the hotel that makes it the place for us to stay whenever we go to Northern Idaho. The hotel is a family business and they are very friendly and very helpful. You are in downtown Wallace and everything thing is within walking distance, and they also have a... More

We stay for two nights at the Brooks and found the staff friendly and the room was nice. Not sure where the small rooms were? It is comparable to other branded hotels. The room had a microwave and refrigerator in it and a table. There is a restaurant in the building and a lounge. The shower was another nice surprise... More

We stayed there on our way back to MT, most recently. Our first time was about January 2010 because my husband had surgery in Spokane. He was not feeling well. Ever since then the staff has always asked how we are doing. They always go the extra mile.

While on our way across country from Bellevue, WA to Stillwater, MN we stopped in Wallace and based on our 20 minute drive around the town, we decided that we would stay at the Brooks Hotel on our last night on the road in three weeks. We made a reservation and found that the hotel was managed and run by... More

Brooks Hotel was our second choice in the town, as our first choice was full (the newer Wallace Inn up the road). This was probably because we arrived during the town's Huckleberry festival. The room given was on the third floor - very large (for two adults and a child), with a large 'fridge and good space between the three... More
