We stayed a few days in Victor to explore Teton park and our host recommended us to go to Moose Creek Ranch for horse riding. It was an amazing experience for all 6 of us. It is indeed a must-do if you're in that area! My kids have never done horse riding but they managed very well and they absolutely loved the experience. Trish, our guide was very patient and knowledgeable! The horses are well trained and they behaved very well. We'll repeat the experience whenever back there!
We glamped for an evening at the Moose Creek Ranch. Relaxing by the fire in the Adirondack chairs was perfect after a busy day of mountain biking Teton Pass. Before we went to sleep in the cozy bed, we had the pleasure of meeting Lucy, the ranch cat. She’s very lovable :) The owners were very friendly and ready to answer any question and make sure we were enjoying ourselves.
Awesome experience! A must-do if you want to experience the true Western feel of this region. Our guides were kind and patient, and the horses were well-behaved and kept good pace. My horse Moe was a sweetheart and had a pension for grass! It had been awhile since I went riding, and this reminded me of why I loved it. My whole family went, and we’re happy we chose this place :)
We planned a last minute elopement and we are SO happy that we picked Moose Creek Ranch! The location was beautiful and we loved how welcome Jeanette made us feel. We stayed in the Rendezvous cabin and absolutely loved it- it was very clean and tastefully decorated. We can only imagine how awesome it would be to have a summer wedding there with all there is to do in the surrounding area. We would recommend Moose Creek over and over!
We stayed at this lovely Ranch for 2 night while visiting the Teton area. Ranch feels secluded, but is only a 10 minute drive to the small town of Victor, Idaho. Victor is a really nice small town with several good restaurants. Grounds of the Ranch are lovely and well maintained with extra touches of flowers, ect. Really pretty setting! There are nice lawn areas, a main Ranch building with cabin buildings off to the sides, a barn with corrals, picnic and fire pit areas, and area for a few rvs with hook ups. Nice low Mtns surrounding and a walking path to a creek at the back of the property. You do have to turn off the main road onto a dirt/gravel road to get there, but this road is smooth and well maintained. We had no trouble on it with our rental compact car. Our cabin was Pine 2. This was a duplex building, 2 Cabins, very up to date. Our cabin was cozy, clean, and well appointed. It felt new and up to date. It had one bedroom, one bath (shower/tub combo), a sitting area with pull out couch and kitchenette combo. Nicely decorated with a rustic and moose theme. Owner was very friendly and welcoming and truly happy to share his lovely Ranch with others! I took a walk several times over to visit and converse with the horses. They do offer horseback riding, but that is beyond my body’s tolerance at this point, lol. Unsecured WiFi, it is a true get away. About 45 minutes to Jackson Hole and Tetons. Very good value. Really a relaxing and lovely setting. Would highly recommend it!…
