My partner and I booked one of the teepees at Teton Valley Resort for October. We did some research and felt like the weather would still be okay to essentially be camping, especially since the website said they provided extra blankets if it's cold! Well, there was a straight up snow storm that day! We had a very stressful drive through Yellowstone and the Idaho mountain pass with all the snow, and got to Teton Valley Resort when it was dark & still snowing. The owners left a note for us that said if we wanted, we could switch to a micro cabin instead of the teepee. We checked out the teepee for the heck of it, and although it looked so cute and fun, it was very, very cold... So, we called their main line and a man came to the office to get our key for the micro-cabin instead - I forget his name, but he was really friendly despite it being kind of late and him having to walk through the snow to come to the office. The micro-cabin was very clean and simple. Once we put the space heater on it warmed up immediately and was lovely and cozy. There was also a full sized fridge (I forget if there was a microwave or a hot plate- but definitely one of those) so we were happy to be able to store some snacks in the room. Although the bathrooms were shared bathrooms in another building, they were always very clean and warm - it wasn't a big deal to walk to them. Just to conclude, we REALLY appreciated the management letting us switch to a cabin for our stay. Especially after the day and ride we had just had to get there. We loved staying in the cabin and want to visit again- hopefully trying out the teepees!

Stayed for a night in one of the exceptionally immaculate, cute, cozy cabins. The cabin is modern/new and the classic rustic decor/design is beautiful. A quiet, restful stay. Lovely woman working the desk (perhaps the owner?) was nice to chat with. Would love to stay again!

The resort is very clean and well kept. The private endless hot water showers and baths are wonderful! The staff goes out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and satisfying as they can, While there are construction improvements underway, they did not affect our stay at all. I recommend Teton Valley as a great spot to stay while visiting the Tetons and Yellowstone. Victor, ID is a nice town with severeal great places to eat. Accolades to Linda for the special care in shipping my forgotten electrical part to me. BB

There are two primary reasons to choose TVR if you're visiting Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park. First, the price is much lower than virtually any comparable location closer to the park. Second, it is much quieter than the crowded streets of Jackson. It is approximately 30 minutes from Jackson Hole and getting there and back involves driving on the steep switchbacks of the Teton Pass Road. Of the several options for accommodations available, I stayed in one of the queen cabins. It was extremely comfortable and spacious with a queen bed and bunk beds for children...as nice as the photos seem on their website! Cabins have full bath as well as a kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave. The staff keeps the cabins immaculately clean and offers a variety of spa/wellness extras. Grounds include space for RV/tent camping and a pool. You could pay more for convenience, but it's hard to imagine getting more comfort or quality for your dollar.

We thought the campground was great. With all the different types of camping spaces, there’s truly something for everyone! Even Tipis!!! The sites are spacious and well marked. The staff was super friendly. We used it as a base for Jackson. That was the only drawback as we had to go through the mountain pass to get back and forth. It’s beautiful but extremely difficult to travel every day sometimes multiple trips. But we loved the area.
