Stanley in May is a very quiet, peaceful place. The room had a very comfortable king bed. It was clean and it had a very relaxing atmosphere! Easy check in/out. My favorite part of this Hotel was the incredible view of the Salmon river! I could have just watched the river and the wildlife all day long.
I was an officiant of a wedding party and was provided a room at the Redfish Riverside Lodge. I was very surprised at how comfortable the bed was. I generally am pretty uncomfortable in many hotel accommodations so this was a great surprise. The beauty that awaits you on the deck was an added bonus. I absolutely recommend this lodge.
We stay at the Riverside at least once a year. A quick overnighter last weekend prior to our planned week there in July was just what we needed. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have this place just under 4 hours from our home. The amenities are comfortable and plentiful, and the scenery is second to none. Whether you're setting out for an adventure or just relaxing on the deck, this place is a joy to stay at. When we started visiting the Sawtooth Valley, we always stayed at Redfish Lake Resort but as it has gotten more popular, it is difficult to secure lodging there in the peak season and that is how we came to know (and love!) the Riverside Inn. It is a lovely, quiet alternative to the hustle and bustle of the Resort. A big thanks to Diana for being such a wonderful hostess of this little treasure!…
Views are unbelievable. Staff was kind and courteous. Room was clean and comfortable. Abundant wildlife. Gentle river sounds had me sleeping like a baby. Amazingly romantic getaway. It was fantastic to just sit in our room and look out the window at the sunshine, rain, and snow, while also watching elk graze and osprey fish. Also went on amazing hikes.
There is not much in Stanley, Idaho, but we decided to stay for the night at the Redfish Riverside Inn and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nice and comfortable and the heaters worked well and kept us nice and warm. Viewing the Sawtooth Mountains from Stanley was great. It was below 30 degrees during our visit, so it sure was cold. We managed to brave the cold and view the night sky. You can see so many stars, constellations and the milky way. There is no light pollution so viewing the stars are just incredible.
