Located right on the banks of the Salmon River, the Redfish Riverside Inn has 14 rooms, each with a kitchenette, and has easy access to float rentals, and the Riverside Spa. The Inn is within walking distance of downtown Stanley, and provide a complimentary shuttle to Redfish Lake.
This Inn has rooms with direct access to a deck that looks directly over the beautiful Salmon River. We loved sitting on the deck drinking coffee, listening to the flow of the river and watching the wildlife. The rooms are clean and large with kitchenettes for those who want to make a quick meal before venturing out to snowshoe, snowmobiling or hiking. We also enjoyed the location as it was near the Mountain Village Resort where they serve prime rib on Thursday and Friday nights. We were very happy with our stay and the supporting staff. Definitely deserves 5 Stars!

We had a room on the second floor with 2 queen beds. It was very clean and had a kitchenette - everything we needed. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We sat on the deck at night and listened to the sounds of the river just in front of us and below - so beautiful! We had hoped to see the stars, but a snow storm was coming in, so visibility was low. The deck off of our room would be a perfect place for star viewing in this Dark Sky Reserve area. It was still wonderful just to sit there and hear the river. Great place to stay in Stanley in winter!

Nice 2-night stay, great hostess. Warm place in one of the coldest areas Great to have a place to prepare a simple meal. Within walking distance to town, hosts provide good resources for winter activity.

We had a fabulous time at the Riverside on a winter getaway- for the third year. Such beauty in the Sawtooths, such cold! -20 F. So cozy and warm at Riverside with fab views and totally fine kitchenette. Hope we can come back next winter.

This place is a gem! Ideal location right next to town but also backing up the the gorgeous river. Couldn’t ask for more in a room…Uber comfortable bed with sheets so nice they are butter soft. Kitchen is fully stocked to actually be functional all. They even include extra blankets marked for Outside Use so you can snuggle up in the Adirondack chairs on the deck and be cozy. Staff is really helpful and very kind. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We stayed here along our way to Glacier National Park. It was wonderful. We only stayed one night but wished we would have stayed longer. The room was fantastic. The back porch opened to the river. We kept our window cracked as we slept so we could hear it. There is a full kitchen with all utensils. I would highly recommend.

Stayed in the Riverside Queen #3 and couldn't have asked for anything more. Being right on the beautiful Salmon River was simply spectacular. Incredible morning, noon and night. No matter the time of day, we so enjoyed just sitting on the deck watching the river flow by and the cattle grazing in the pasture across the water. Didn't use the kitchenette or the outside grill but certainly will next year when we return as the restaurant fare, in our minds, was somewhat limited (trying to be nice here). We will bring our own food next time and cook on the deck. The room was clean and beds were VERY COMFORTABLE. We'll be back!

This has become our go to place where we can both relax and go enjoy the beautiful outdoors. We enjoy bringing most of our food, which the kitchenette is very useful to prepare it! There are very good restaurants in town also, if you want to be served:)

Had a great 3-night stay at Redfish Riverside Inn. We had a room on the river which was lovely. Awesome deck, great spot for morning coffee, afternoon cocktails, after dinner relaxing. Each unit on the river has a table and chairs, and the lower units have the bigger deck with 2 adirondeck chairs as well. We enjoyed the other folks who were our "neighbors" and all were respectful of the quiet hours. We were there during the Sawtooth Music Festival, but the Redfish Riverside Inn is just far enough from town to be quiet, while also close enough to walk for dinner. We enjoyed seeing the cows and pronghorn elk just across the river. Comfortable beds, hot showers.

I can't gush enough about this amazing place! WE staying in the ranger cabin with our family for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed for 2 weeks. Gorgeous, pristinely clean cabin, spa like bathroom, gorgeous views out the window and the river flowing right across the street. Just gorgeous. WE enjoyed everything about Stanley and were so sad to leave.
