Right on the highway. Not any Brand Name places in town, so take what is available. Ours was room #7. Front door fit like it hadn't been looked at since new. No safety locks. Even the 'dead bolt' was 'dead' (not working). SLAM hard and it shuts. Carpet could use a cleaning. Bedspread had a hole in the center. Overall...

Soda Springs is a beautiful place to stay while in the area. The JR Inn is centrally located in town and offers modest, clean and quiet rooms at a very reasonable price. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are not lumpy, a plus while traveling. The owner is very knowledgeable and directed me to a terrific restaurant to have...

The rooms are large and you can get a microwave and refrig if you request one. The Wifi worked and is free. There was on shampoo provided in the bathroom, but it was clean and the water was hot. The pillows leave something to be desired, but if you are picky you should bring your own. Be aware that there...

I was in town for work and this was the only place that had vacancy at the time. And now I know why. I stayed in the middle of July and I didn't find out until it was too late that there was no air conditioning what so ever. The room I had was hot, and not very clean. There...

This stay was an unplanned stay, just a "we have got to stop". We stopped at the local Maverik store and asked where a decent place to stay in town would be, and they recommended JR Inn. So anyone who knows small town Idaho, should know that lodging choices in small rural areas isn't going to the best stay ever,...

I suppose at 50 a night you can't expect much. The shower didn't drain and it was noisy. The bed was uncomfortable but at least they changed from plastic pillows to sort of real pillows. Would not recommend, maybe if you're on a budget and need a cheap place to stay

I stayed here for several nights as it was in close proximity to a local dog event. The room and bathroom were very clean. The shower in my room had great pressure !! The room was large enough and included a small table with 2 chairs. My room had a microwave and refrigerator, which is only available upon request. They...

We like to stay in older motels when we travel - usually can find fun cheap ones that are fine, clean and spacious with parking right in front of our room. In this respect J and R was fine. However, the owner is in the wrong business. He doesn't understand hospitality. We brought our armchairs outside to sit on, he...

Keep in mind, first of all, that Soda Springs is not a tourist destination and therefore lodging accommodations are very limited. The JR Inn was the cleanest and best kept motel option in town. Our room was spacious and clean and the queen bed was comfortable and we slept very well with nice, full pillows!!! (not like the super-ultrasoft, fluffy...
