Out site was backed up to the river, which was a lovely setting. However, it had no shade at all. We paid $29.00 for a night with power and water, no sewer. Some sites did have sewer hookups. Since we had no sewer hookup, they wanted $10 to dump in their dump station. No cell phone service or TV service.... More

Wagonhammer is on the Salmon River, also known as The River of No Return. The scenery is impressive, not too many people, and much local history. It was here in 1805 that Lewis and Clark became so intimidated by the violence of the river rapids that they abandoned their river trek, climbed out of the canyon, and sought a different... More

The kids and I discovered that we do not like sleeping in Tee-pees at all. The website described it as a sand-bottom tee-pee, however, the floor was gravel and very, very hard. We walked away from this one-night stay covered in mosquito bites too:-( I think they could do a bit of enhancing on the tee-pees to make them more... More

We stayed at this quaint little campground July 4th and loved it. It is right by running water and you can sit with your feet in the water and cool off. The bathrooms and showers were spotless. The couple that run the place were awesome and very helpful. I would highly recommend this campground.

We stayed here in July for one night. Was quiet even though it was on the road. The bathrooms facilities were spotless and very user friendly as well as beautiful. Definitely an oasis on our trip.... Having a personal escort to our site was very nice. Check in was a breeze!

We stopped here on a driving/camping trip through Idaho. We have tents and normally wouldn't consider an RV park, but we stopped here late on day since it had the best ratings of any in the area. It was fantastic! The lawn was green and soft and while there really isn't any privacy, it also isn't overpacked either. There are... More

Nice RV park with good power 50 amp service , water, and sewer on pull thru sites but not on those back ins against the fork of the river. Check in quick and liked the personal escort to our site. This always takes the confusion out of where to go Used the wash facilities for our clothes. Clean and well... More

Is really all I can say about this campground... The review by Clarence Oscar of Lethbride Canada is SPOT ON make sure and read it bellow. Thanks for all the great information! We had high hopes for this park after readying some of the reviews and seeing pictures on their website, well this is by far not the worst campground... More

This is the the nicest, most beautiful RV park I have ever stayed in. We usually dry camp because of the big sites ability to enjoy nature without lots of other people. Wagonhammer has great big, grassy sites right on the salmon river (as long as you don't need sewer hookup) My kids had a great time exploring the river... More

This is a large RV campground. It is very well maintained. The bathrooms are quite lovely and much more fun to shower there than our tight fitting trailer shower. There is a large grassy area in the center suitable for lots of Frisbee fun. The dogs loved the dog park! Two Labradors running free (on their side of the campground)!... More
