We went for 10 nights mid August 2022, it is a stunningly beautiful place and didn't disappoint. The views are just amazing. Always sunbeds around the pool, most guests had rental cars and went out all day. Food is quite expensive and very European. We love greek food on holiday and its hard to find in the hotel! Considering its supposed to have an award winning chef I think he was on holiday himself while we were there. Half Board is not worth the extra money, food is bland and uninteresting. The desserts are the best part! Drinks in the bar are v expensive, two small local beers and two fantas 20 euro. Consequently, we ate out 7 times even tho we had half board! The small family run tavernas outside the hotel are traditional, friendly and lovely food although menu is not extensive, but we didn't care. The free shuttle bus is brilliant, you can go anytime between 10am and 6pm to the beach or even just the tavernas there for lunch. Views and food amazing, we loved both tavernas on the local beach. Koroni is fabulous in the evenings, its like Mamma Mia with the waterfront tavernas, good value for money and so authentic, we loved it there. Hotel can call you a taxi and then arrange pick up with the driver. There was no help from Tui in booking any sight seeing trips, we were out on limb! Friends got a taxi to the ruins it was 120 euros return, but they said worth going. Hotel were v unhelpful booking a boat rip as their usual captain had covid. We researched and found Areion Sail and booked it ourselves on the internet. Annika and Cliff were amazing, came to our hotel to collect ID paperwork for coastguard and arranged everything. Just 5 adults on the sailing boat, stopped for swimming etc and Cliff did a picnic lunch on board. 100% recommended. Rooms were large and clean, serviced daily, friendly staff. Our room was right underneath the bar and the outside seating area, but it didn't really give us any grief, altho if you go to bed early I can see that it would as you could hear chattering and the cocktail blender in full motion! Staff friendly but the star of the hotel is George, the shuttle bus driver, he is the font of all knowledge about local area etc and an overall lovely guy. Great holiday, if you love authentic Greece, you can't go wrong with the area.…
It was a pleasure to stay at Camvillia. The people are really nice and service oriented. Georgia proviced us with a amazing upgrade because we were there to celebrate a special occasion she did her best to provide us with everything we wished for. Much appreciated. We would stay here again. This part of Peloponnesos is so different from other parts like Mani or the Costa Navarino. It has more hills then mountains en there are pine trees, fruit trees and olive plants everywhere. What we liked: - The layout of the hotel - several small buildings overlooking the sea. You get there by walking (or buggy) a lovely path way with trees and plants everywhere. - The people, everyone of the staff members are so friendly and kind - The sea view from the rooms is lovely (we had a upper Junior Suite with a shared pool below) - Quiet in the morning and evening (there is a road nearby but you don't really hear it in the morning). - The Buffet breakfast was tasty and they make your eggs to order. The variety is really good and the view from the restaurant is amazing - The private beach. It's a 5m drive (you can take a shuttle) they have sunbeds and drink service. The beach itself is great (sandy and long so you can take a real stroll along the beach) There are also two restaurants (2min walk, one on the beach and one above the beach where you enter the beach) where you can have a nice lunch. - Koroni (nearby village) is only a 15m drive and has many restaurants and a few tiny shops - Enough parking just outside the hotel Some minor things: - We did not care for the interior of the rooms. It's a mix and match of different styles. BUT its not unpleasant as the colours are all light. - During the day/ late afternoon it can be a bit noisy from the neighbours. If the guest in the room next to you have the tv on and the balcony open you can hear it in your room. - The sunbeds on the beach do not match the luxury of the hotel. …
This was our 4th year in paradise! Never fails to disappoint the sky blue sea from every balcony, amazing food and the best breakfast in Greece. We've stayed in a garden room, balcony rooms on recently room with a private pool which was incredible. Peroulia beach is nearby, safe for children, immaculately clean and has drinks service from your sun lounger. Check out the giant prawns at Akti restaurant while you're there. You won't regret it. Thanks...Georgia, Kelly, Gerry, Andreas and Costas for another amazing stay will be back next year, feels like somethings missing without our annual pilgrimage to Koroni.
A peaceful place and very quiet. Kelly from the reception had always an ear for my wishes and Marias massage was a wonderful experience! Highly recommended! My room had a stunning view: olive groves, the sea and mountains. For breakfast fresh orange juice and lots of other tasty food.
Its an amazing place to fill up the batteries excellent food and a very warm & friendly management & employees ready to cover all our request Its a place that we will come again next year Swimming at peroulia beach was what we wanted sun & sand The room had a perfect view to the sea just to stay and drink the iced coffee and relax Wi-Fi was very strong
Beautiful hotel designed to reflect all the beauty of the Peloponnesian landscape, with stunning breathtaking sea views of the Aegean sea and a great beach. From start to finish our stay at Camvillia Resort was amazing. All the staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful and kind. Georgina at the reception, Pavlos, Gerry and Tonia wonderful and friendly, keen to offer their local knowledge with great suggestions. Our Suite with an infinity private pool was very spacious, beautifully decorated and offered gorgeous views. We spent long hours on our private pool but also on the pristine water of the hotel’s beach. Breakfast was very rich with a big variety of local products and many a la carte options enjoyed in the restaurant area with the magnificent scenery of olive groves and the blue sea and sky . The evening restaurant atmosphere was very relaxing and great for celebrating personal occasions, with great food prepared with love from the chef. Thank you all for making our wedding anniversary so special. Until next time.…
Beautiful resort, with fantastic view and beach. The rooms and the gardens where so clean. Excellent breakfast and delicious dishes at the restaurant also signature cocktails from the Alex at the pool bar. Thank you Georgina and all the staff. We will be back soon
I visited Camvillia Resort for a 5 day vacation with a couple of friends and I was really impressed. Everything from the food to the cleanliness was top class. The personnel was friendly and always willing to help. I will definitely visit it again!
Third year in a row at Camvillia. Each time a unique experience of relaxation and service, as befits a five-star resort. The resort's private beach is also amazing, but so is the central pool with an endless view! The restaurant is also of a very high standard! Keep up the excellent work!
Excellent location, unique design and delicious cuisine with an extensive wine list. Unforgettable moonlight view from the restaurant. Staff was very polite and friendly. Infinity pool is the highlight. Very convenient transfers to and from the beach.
