My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary here over the weekend. We were greeted with a glass of wine upon arrival and all staff was amazing and friendly. We utilized the shuttle service so we didn't have to worry about parking in the snowy conditions. The shuttle was fast, easy and the drivers were fun! We were a short walk to the hot tubs/heated pool, which we used each day and it was fabulous. We were able to enjoy the Cutwater for breakfast, which was speedy. The to-go drinks at the bar outside the coffee shop was wonderful so we could enjoy our guest room. Staff was friendly and happy to assist us throughout our stay. We will be returning for our anniversary in the future!
During my stay, I found clothing in the closet from a previous guest. Seems housekeeping staff does not do a good job of cleaning a room. Especially at this high end type hotel and for the room price I paid. Also, two of the TV remotes did not work. I had to call front desk to get them fixed. The Presidential Suite room is very spacious and had a great lake view.
Just a short Fall Getaway , and … it was perfect. So relaxing to spend the day and evening in McCall at the Shore Lodge. Especially before the snows get here. (Not that there’s anything wrong with snow!) Anyway … It was beautiful. And quiet. And First Class. King Room on the lake. Everything, as expected for this exceptional resort. Ahhhh … the crisp Fall air, colors and surroundings. Can’t beat it!
Had a trip planned last minute. A week in advance. Wife got sick and had to reschedule. They don’t do that. So I paid 340 to cancel. Wtf seriously? I’ll never go there again and encourage anyone who asks not to as well. Very elitist.
My wife and I have spent a few of our anniversaries and other special events here. The Lounge has a spectacular view. The cocktails are done very well and the food is delicious. After drinks, you can scoot over to the Narrows for a fine dining experience. It’s a bit spendy but worth every dollar. The staff is knowledgeable with wine pairing etc. You can end the night with desert in your room will enjoying a full moon or sunset from your balcony. The beds are super comfy. In the morning, you head down to cut water and have a mimosas and a great brunch. Then hit the pool and hot tub, while taking in the amazing view of Payette Lake. Then start it all over again. You never even have to leave. Super chill and relaxing. Highly recommend. Thanks.
My very first experience at Shore Lodge and it was so great. Everything was beautiful and we truly had just the best time. Rooms were clean, food was great, and you can’t beat how beautiful the view of the lake was at all times. Couldn’t ask for a better stay!
Fantastic destination. Close to beautiful hiking, biking, and much more. The Lodge is set right on Payette Lake. Kids loved the pool, pickle ball, smores, and the theatre. Our room was clean and the service was exceptional.
The service was fine, the scenery was outstanding, the value wasn’t there for me. The food was just okay but priced as if it were high end. The menu didn’t match up with what the kitchen actually offered. When servers changed, they argued that a drink offering that had been served to us in our previous round wasn’t something that their bar could make. Very confusing since we had just ordered and consumed a perfect example of said drink.
The moment you step into Shore Lodge you will know you have arrived in as warm as welcoming an environment as you can imagine . Each and every guest is given the same VIP treatment as I was , this is why no trip to Mccall is complete without a visit to the Shore Lodge . Excellent food , amazing ambience and good memories abound .
Love this hotel but hate the new room layout of some of the rooms. The room with the beds has no windows and no AC. Additionally, they keep the coffee maker and fridge set up right next to the beds. It feels cramped and makes it difficult to enjoy any of those amenities while other guests are sleeping.
