Sorry for being so late on this review. We travel I-15 twice a year past the turn off to Lava Hot Springs while travelling to Phoenix from Canada. I wanted to change things up this year and decided to see what Lava Hot Springs had to offer. I quickly found this delightful bed and breakfast which also serves a first class supper. My wife is a peacock nut after our last daughter's wedding when those colours were used throughout the event. I surprised my wife with the reservation and when she opened the door she was overwhelmed with the decorations. The peacock room is definately over the top. The separate bathroom is large and private and the large king bed was very comfy. We had supper and I attach two photo's to this review showing my salmon entree and the desert. My wife had the filet and was really impressed. Remember to bring your own bottle of wine if you want something special. We had to leave early this next morning so we did not get to enjoy the crepes and other goodies. Vicky and our server tried to get us to stay for breakfast and even offered to get up early to at least give us some muffins and coffee but we declined. To summarize, for an overnight stay in Lava Hot Springs, this is the classiest spot and their prices are extremely reasonable. If you have mobility issues with stairs you should be cautioned since there is a big U shape flight of stairs to get you to the room level which is after you have to climb a flight of stairs from the street level to get into the lobby. The Lava Hot Springs venue is very well done and we enjoyed the number of pools that are offered. The water is crystal clear and there is no smell of sulfer so that is a real bonus. Will we be back there? Absolutely, we will book ahead and know that we will have a good rest and meal at Greystone Manor. Thank you Vicky!

It had been 4 months since we dined in. During our stay at the KOA in Lava Hot Springs, we got tired of cooking hamburger and hotdogs and took a leap of faith during this COVID crises and booked a dinner at Greystone Manor. The owner and wait help were VERY sensitive to our concerns about wearing masks and had them handy if we wanted them to wear one. We had a wonderful 4-course dinner that we will remember forever. Perfect filet and rack of lamb and dessert of homemade creme brulee. It's a beautiful building with LOTS of history. The classiest place in town!

Greystone Manor is the absolute best place to spend a romantic weekend, that can be said by the rest of the reviews as well, but they also do weddings!! We could not have picked a better venue. Vicki has so many decorations and such a helpful staff. The only decor we had to bring was flowers for the pews and our table numbers. Everything looked so beautiful. This was our dream wedding because of Greystone. There are 5 rooms downstairs and a chapel attached to the main dining hall so its perfect for staying on site and having 1 perfect location for sleeping, wedding and reception. They are so easy to work with and have excellent pricing.

We paid for and reserved the king room for 2 nights back on Jan 10, when we got there Feb 15th the room was occupied and the town was full. The manager DID bend over backwards to make sure we got a room and fully refunded us. Dinner was fabulous and breakfast as well. Overall an ok stay after a bit of adventure, though I was rather disappointed having to share a bathroom on my extremely rare vacation without kids. Would stay again, but confirm the reservation before driving 3ish hours.

I'll break it down with Pros and Cons:

Pros: Cute little town and Bed and Breakfast was located within walking distance to restaurants. Bed and breakfast looked nice from the outside and relatively nice from the inside.

Cons: Getting information from hostess was like pulling teeth. Most places tell you the Wifi name and password right off the bat. We had to text her to ask. Wasn't sure how to operate the fireplace. Had to text and ask. 3 remote left to operate. I gave up and didn't even try.

I'm not sure why they don't give you operation instructions when you check in or leave an instruction sheet in the room.

Never saw the hostess until the next morning at breakfast so wasn't sure if instant coffee and tea was available 24/7or not. Didn't want to keep texting questions. No spoons were left out for mixing if it was available.

Sheets were stained. By the time we noticed it was getting late and didn't want to text the hostess so we assumed they were clean but just stained.

Quiche in the morning for breakfast was nice but looked and tasted store bought.

Room was decorated with a lot of sea shells yet the area was not even close to a beach. Seemed strange and quirky. If you like quirky, then you may like it.

I don't like giving bad reviews so I at least gave it 3 star but I wanted to give people a heads up as to the quality of the bed and breakfast.

My wife and I spent a Saturday night at Greystone B&B. Each room is a different theme; we stayed in the King Room which was large with a double jacuzzi and a romantic gas fireplace. The only minus was that the room didn't have its own shower; we we had walk down the hall in our furnished, soft robes to use the common shower. A good value for $125/ night.
After arriving we had dinner in its terrific restaurant full of antiques. After some delicious o'er d'oeurves and salad, I had a delicious filet mignon and my wife had rack of lamb. Especially delicious were the butternut squash ravioli. Then we had delicious chesecake. Oh, and the wine was included. All for $35 per person. The service (by the owner) was excellent. Great food and service at a value price. We'll definitely be back.

My wife and I went here for dinner and while we felt a little under dressed, it was an experience we won’t forget! The dining room is full of really cool antique dishes and China cabinets and the food was very good. The filet minion cut like butter and melts in your mouth and the cheese cake was fluffy and delicious unlike any cheesecake we’ve had. The owner was super nice and serves every meal. We will definitely be coming here again!

This neighborhood gem is one we were so very pleased to discover on a recent weekend to Lava. Vicky and Sandy are not short on hospitality or generosity and their vintage china, glassware, antiques and paintings are a treat to admire. Stop by for creative and interesting food and wine and even better, stay the night in one of the historic rooms or cottages restored with love. You will be so pleased that you did. Such a unique and special place and experience just a couple of blocks away from the bustle of downtown not to be missed.

Our stay at Greystone Manor was amazing. The owners made sure our stay was comfortable and they were eager to answer questions about the place and the town. The breakfast every morning was delicious. And if you paid for the 4 course dinner you were in for a real treat. The atmosphere was private and the food was incredible. Hoping to make this a yearly retreat. Can't wait to come back and try another themed room.

In looking for a romantic getaway in Lava Hot Springs, we happened upon the perfect place - Greystone Manor! We stayed in the King room. It was a chilly 19 degrees outside, but we were kept warm by our private in-room fireplace. Craig took good care of us with an amazing dinner of filet mignon for me and salmon for the wife. The cheesecake was delectable! After giving ourselves sometime to digest, we headed down to the hot springs with some helpful tips Craig provided. Sooo relaxing! The next morning we were greeted with a perfect breakfast! Can't say enough good things about the Greystone Manor! If you are in Lava Hot Springs, don't miss out an this opportunity!
