Such a cute place. we stayed in the Greystone house across the street. It was cute, quaint, and fully stocked. The staff was friendly and kind. The 4 course dinner prepared at the manor was PHENOMENAL! We Will be back!
This was my first time to lava hot springs and I wanted to find a b&b experience. Greystone stood out from the pack for their unique rooms and the option for a dinner and breakfast meal! There are limited food options in lava so I wanted something that was home cooked and personal. Vicky went above and beyond my expectations. She is an amazing chef and I was so so happy we got to eat her home cooking for two meals during our visit! The room we got was the larger one with the tub in it. We loved it, such a pleasant experience and I like how the room is laid out. A good flow and beautiful art. The headboard is so cool!! 10/10 My husband and I would be honored to be guests here again.
Greystone Manor is my new favorite place to stay. We stayed in the beautiful Teal room. The bed was very comfortable, Slept like a baby. The room was very warm and inviting. Breakfast was delicious. We were also able to enjoy a mouth watering dinner of stuffed pork chops. Vicky is not only a fantastic cook but also very friendly hostess who took great care of us. We can't wait to go back.
Everything was excellent: Vicki and Craig were wonderful hosts, accommodations were perfect, the food was delicious and the setting splendiferous. My wife and I were celebrating our 39th anniversary, and it could not have been a more perfect experience, thanks especially to Vicki who is an amazing, caring, personality plus, lovely lady. Both the breakfasts and the four course dinners were five star.
From the beautiful items all over the dining room the out of this world food this place was one of the best experiences we've ever had. The owner was also extremely kind and very knowledgeable about the area. We absolutely loved this. Beautiful location and wonderful food. We will definitely be returning and probably staying.
Greystone Manor is the absolute best place to spend a romantic weekend, that can be said by the rest of the reviews as well, but they also do weddings!! We could not have picked a better venue. Vicki has so many decorations and such a helpful staff. The only decor we had to bring was flowers for the pews and our table numbers. Everything looked so beautiful. This was our dream wedding because of Greystone. There are 5 rooms downstairs and a chapel attached to the main dining hall so its perfect for staying on site and having 1 perfect location for sleeping, wedding and reception. They are so easy to work with and have excellent pricing.
I'll break it down with Pros and Cons: Pros: Cute little town and Bed and Breakfast was located within walking distance to restaurants. Bed and breakfast looked nice from the outside and relatively nice from the inside. Cons: Getting information from hostess was like pulling teeth. Most places tell you the Wifi name and password right off the bat. We had to text her to ask. Wasn't sure how to operate the fireplace. Had to text and ask. 3 remote left to operate. I gave up and didn't even try. I'm not sure why they don't give you operation instructions when you check in or leave an instruction sheet in the room. Never saw the hostess until the next morning at breakfast so wasn't sure if instant coffee and tea was available 24/7or not. Didn't want to keep texting questions. No spoons were left out for mixing if it was available. Sheets were stained. By the time we noticed it was getting late and didn't want to text the hostess so we assumed they were clean but just stained. Quiche in the morning for breakfast was nice but looked and tasted store bought. Room was decorated with a lot of sea shells yet the area was not even close to a beach. Seemed strange and quirky. If you like quirky, then you may like it. I don't like giving bad reviews so I at least gave it 3 star but I wanted to give people a heads up as to the quality of the bed and breakfast.…
My wife and I spent a Saturday night at Greystone B&B. Each room is a different theme; we stayed in the King Room which was large with a double jacuzzi and a romantic gas fireplace. The only minus was that the room didn't have its own shower; we we had walk down the hall in our furnished, soft robes to use the common shower. A good value for $125/ night. After arriving we had dinner in its terrific restaurant full of antiques. After some delicious o'er d'oeurves and salad, I had a delicious filet mignon and my wife had rack of lamb. Especially delicious were the butternut squash ravioli. Then we had delicious chesecake. Oh, and the wine was included. All for $35 per person. The service (by the owner) was excellent. Great food and service at a value price. We'll definitely be back.…
My wife and I went here for dinner and while we felt a little under dressed, it was an experience we won’t forget! The dining room is full of really cool antique dishes and China cabinets and the food was very good. The filet minion cut like butter and melts in your mouth and the cheese cake was fluffy and delicious unlike any cheesecake we’ve had. The owner was super nice and serves every meal. We will definitely be coming here again!
This was originally a Mormon church. It has only 5 rooms. Each is unique and charming. There is a large dinner/event space upstairs full of antique China, Crystal and wedding toppers that is interesting to browse through as well as a chapel. The owner cooked our delicious breakfast, and was interesting, charming and friendly. We loved our stay and definitely recommend it!
