A lovely campground, and the location is very convenient. Not far from the Hot Pools, and a short walk through Lava to check out the cute shops they have in town. This is a nice place to get away, we will be back later this summer!!

All the staff was great but the one grounds keeper was so helpful. He gave us great advice for things to do in town. Places to see and even took our wood to our site for us. He made our stay and visit more enjoyable and made us want to go back. Wish we got his name but SUPER friendly guy!

Wife and I are staying at this RV park for 3 nights on our cross country trip. The RV park itself is very clean and attractive. Sites are nice size with a parking space next to it for your truck. The staff at check in were friendly and courteous. The young man that filled our propane tanks was very professional. I can only give the campground a 3 due to the noise. Not the train like others have mentioned. Barking dogs all evening. Most campgrounds have a 10pm quite time. Evidently not this one.

This is a great place to stay if you want to visit Lava Hot springs. There is a trail that runs right to the main street, easy walk to everything. The showers and bathrooms were very clean. Hookups worked great with our tent trailer. Does have a playground, but it rained the whole time we were there, so we didn't really check it out. This site IS close to the road and railroad tracks, so you will hear traffic and trains. but so are most of the other campgrounds.

We stayed at the Lava Hot Springs KOA on Bristol Park Lane and found it to be a nicely maintained park. Check in was easy, and instructions were clear. THe only complaint would be the proximity to the railroad track, but running the fan in the fifth wheel blocked most of that noise. Great place to stay.
