Lava is a tiny town, Alpaca Inn is centered, park your car and walk anywhere you want to see in town, awesome rooms, quite, caring owners, exceptionally clean rooms. Just up the street is the Lava Hot Springs open til late at night, the river rafting isn't anymore fun than you can have in your own bathtub, definitely take the thirty minute drive to see Chesterfield, and old ghost town tat was built by Mormons ans sits on the Oregon trail. The none hole golf course is well kept an fun. I am on the run from the fires in California and so happy I found this little town and this hotel.
The place was great!!! Nice and clean...The staff was very helpful... highly recommend this place to all family or just a night away with the wife... only a few blocks from the hot Springs... Food just right around the corner too
This was a very nice, clean, and quaint place to stay. It was also reasonably priced. The owner and/or staff are very nice, courteous, and very accommodating. It had a beautiful grassy common area for lounging, as well as a nice common patio to relax on. It was easily in the range of walking to everywhere we wanted to go, so we could leave our car parked. Our room also had a fridge and microwave, which would be helpful if we were staying more than one night. I'd definitely recommend the Alpaca Inn.
This will be the only place we stay for now on when visiting Lava, super clean nice rooms with everything you could need. Location is awesome, right behind the main street making it much quieter with super short easy walk to everything in town.
This was such a perfect place to come home to after driving all day. Very clean, comfortable and roomy. The bed was comfortable and the room set up very efficiently. It felt like we had a lot of space. Jody and his crew did everything to make our stay super easy. We will definitely be staying here again when we travel to Lava.
