Detailed Reviews
What a beautiful place, both in terms of location and room decoration. We booked only hours before arriving and the hosts were very accommodating. The room was spatious and had a lounge chair and small desk. The king size bed slept fine and the porch is the perfect place to wind down, and wake up.
Cell phone service is non existing but the WiFi is excellent.

Upon our arrival we were greeted by the owners and the new managers and their 2 friendly dogs. Our room is upstairs, very comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated. The bed is quite comfotrable and there is no shortage of bath linens. The filled bookshelves is a nice touch. Didn't plan with bringing groceries to cook with, but highly recommend it as there is a full kitchen and bbq's available and restaurants are at least 10 miles in each direction. But have to say our burgers were great at the Outlaw in Stytes and The Wilderness Cafe for breakfast served its purpose. A wonderful place to get unplugged with no cell service and no TV. Wi-Fi is available so no worries mapping things out.
The atmosphere is quiet and serene listening to the birds. The summer season may present more road noise, but late August has proven to be very nice with minimal traffic and the place is nicely set off the road.
Would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling through this beautiful area.

We stayed 4 nights in the River View Room. The location and lodging proved to be fantastic. Our room was well equipped with a comfortable bed, microwave, fridge, books, mirror, desk and a view! They provide seating outside of each room, with available barbecues downstairs and a fully equipped guest kitchen. Everything is well maintained and the place has a feeling of serenity and privacy. Grateful to have found this place. We also enjoyed the fishing, hiking, and scenic drives along the Clearwater, Lochsa and Selway rivers!

Jeff and Amanda are incredible hosts. They could not be more gracious, welcoming and accommodating. There is a small but well equipped communal kitchen with two outdoor grills and a washer/dryer available for use. The upstairs rooms have great light, are clean and have way above average linens and towels. There is one freestanding cabin whose interior we didn’t see. It is set well back off the road and a real oasis

Great location for exploring the area, tracking & photography! Not too far from Kooskia. Met the manager & his son, they were helpful & knew about the local critters, common & rare....Good access to the Selway area. Will be back soon, nice accommodations!

I very rarely give out five stars. I feel that five stars is reserved for those times when there is almost nothing you would change about a place. In this case, the only thing I would change is the shower head, and who cares about that?
The location is great, the rooms are nice, the people are friendly. Even out here in the middle of nowhere-ish, the internet is good. I can't say anything bad about this place, and would absolutely stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

Staying with Ruth May was a great pleasure.
The welcome warm, the rooms great, good beds thus a good night's sleep, clean, comfortable, quiet, and the stars at night the most beautiful during all our trip.
Reflections Inn belongs by far to the top 3 places we stayed at on this 3-week holiday in the US.
Also the breakfast was nice. Fritata(?) we really liked it and felt at home.
What a shame we stayed only 1 night.

Very rarely do I stay in Inns. This was a motorcycle trip and decided to stay there in my second night (left from Calgary) after riding the Lolo pass highway.
I had booked the first room on the left on the ground floor (name of the room had something to do with local flower... Forgot! Sorry.). The room was nice and clean.
The decor is one of the owners that have not look at it in a while and have not compared it with was is newer and more modern. But, you gives a darn, there is no TV. Read a book. The bed was very comfortable.
Outside they have a round jacuzzi tub, relaxed in there while a warm rain was falling on top of the mountain. Jim came out to bring me an umbrella. Hey! I'm fine. Go back inside Jim... I'm doing great!
But the main reason for liking my stay there, was the owners: Jim and Ruth. Fantastic hosts.
I will be back on my next trip through hwy 12.
Lovely.

On our first trip to Idaho, we planned to raft the Lochsa River in Kooskia. The Reflections Inn was recommended by the rafting company. From the moment we pulled up, we were very impressed with the scenery, the setting, and the hostess, Ruth. She is the best hostess you could ever ask for. She cooked a delicious, wonderful breakfast for 12 and was attentive to each person's needs. She also made dinner for me and my husband, and we grilled it ourselves. We sat around the fire pit one night catching up with friends. The rooms are all very quaint, unique, clean and comfortable, modern and yet each its own style. The scenery is breathtaking with evergreens all around the mountains and the river down below. It is so quiet and remote, but so beautiful, too. You don't even miss not having cell service or TV. I hope to get back here one day. Thank you, Ruth, for making this a memorable part of our trip.

We spent the night here on our annual motorcycle trip with some friends. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. In addition to a nice room with ice cold a/c, they have many amenities such as many outdoor patio and garden areas, a complete guest kitchen, a BBQ grill to use, and also a hot tub. They also have a very friendly cat that loves attention and roams the property. We actually bought some steaks and fixings at the local grocery store in Kooskia and cooked supper there on the patio. Very relaxing evening and a great breakfast the next morning. No cell phone service and limited wifi a perfect combination for peace and quiet!!
