Travelers' Choice
Hotel Ketchum is ideally located on Main Street in downtown Ketchum, Idaho. In a fully remodeled building, Hotel Ketchum is an authentic re-imagination of the perfect home-base for visitors who share a desire for inspired and immersive experiences and memories. 'Settle in, set out' is one of our mottos because we view our hotel as a launching pad for bigger adventures, and we want to uphold that idea in everything we do. We’re built for those of you who get as much out of your days as you do your evenings. We’re the perfect gathering place for those of you who enjoy eating great meals with old friends as much as toasting drinks with new chairlift pals. We welcome anyone who soaks up life and values quality over pretense. If the excitement of modern design mixed with the comfort of rich history is your thing, then this is your spot.

The walls are thin and each noise in the next door room can be heard; drawers opened, bathroom flushed, people conversation. Did not sleep well during stay. No housekeeping and must request towels for use.

Hotel's Favorite
The location is tops. Walk just a few minutes for dining and shopping, bus stop right out front to get to the mountain for skiing. Rooms are right sized for a couple and well stocked, plus there is a grocery store just a five minute walk away. The staff is great and Brooke at the front desk was very helpful with local knowledge. Housekeeping did a wonderful job throughout our stay. As long as you’re not looking for over the top lobbies and a spa type hotel this is a very good choice. We would come back for sure.

If you need a place to stay in Ketchum on the cheaper side, this hotel is okay. They’ve done some work on it recently. Cleaning is lousy—you get to do it yourself although they blame covid. Have fun cleaning your toilet on vacation. Also lots of noise from units above you.

Response from Jeff Bay, General Manager at Hotel Ketchum
Responded Jul 30, 2020
Dear TravelALotA213415, Thanks for your feedback, I'm so sorry you were disappointed in our service levels. All industries that serve the public are being forced to modify their safety and cleaning processes in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. We adhere to and strictly follow guidance from the CDC, WHO, the American Hotel and Lodging Association and the State of Idaho in developing our operational plans, and the safety of our guests and staff are our priorities. Sometimes this means we can't provide the traditional personal services and amenities that you may have come to expect from us, but we do list our cleaning and safety plan on our website (https://www.hotelketchum.com/health-and-safety.htm), on our reservations materials , in the guestrooms as well as at check in. Please know that we wish we were "back to normal" but until we feel that we can offer these services safely and without risk to our guests and employees we will follow these procedures. We hope to welcome you back in the future.

Our view was a wall. Manager was belligerent and rude. If you like looking at walls then then this is the place for you. There was no patio, despite representation. Loud. Highly recommend finding a different hotel in this beautiful town.

SO happy with this hotel. Conveniently located for skiing/shopping/eating. Loved the staff and funky design of hotel. Breakfast was simple, yet delicious( the banana bread was fantastic)! Rooms were spacious and the toiletries were lovely. Robes were a wonderful surprise & loved having a room safe. Chocolate chip cookies every afternoon. Yum. A quick 4 minute drive to Bald Mountain for skiing. Great place!!
