This is a slightly older but nice (and clean!) family-friendly motel There appear to be two double bed in every room, microwave, fridge and the usual amenities. Internet is fast, and I stay in hotels over 50 nights/year. They are very dog friendly and family friendly too, with free DVDs and videos - and even free ice cream. Really a... More

It is a room, a place to spend a night other than your vehicle. Did have a micro and fridge and TV. No morning breakfast, old hotel, no upgrades, dogs barking like they were in your room, just a bad experience. We were driving late and took what we could get.

I was looking for somewhere to sleep after a long stretch of our journey. I looked online, found their website and it looked like a decent hotel that had been recently remodeled. Seriously, hardwood floors and up to date. When we got in our room, (no card keys here) we found shag carpet and an old school tv with a... More

This place was way overpriced for what it is...which is old, run down, poorly maintained and poorly run. It was a disappointment at every turn. The rooms were over priced, bedding was very old, rooms smelled musty. TV was an outdated tube. There was no easy access to the 2nd floor...had to drag suit-cases up a narrow stair case. The... Silverhorn is one of the friendliest and most helpful places we've ever stayed. We ski at Silver Mountain and stay here. It isn't fancy, but it is clean, reasonably priced, and has free coffee, movies, and laundry facilities. There is a restaurant in the building where you can get room service for no extra cost, with a wide selection of... More

Got in after dark without a reservation because of snow on the interstate. Friendly staff, 24 Hr coffee at the desk, rooms basic but clean and heater worked well. No complaints about the dining room on our visit, hot breakfast was good, and service also good. Yes, the staff do talk to the regulars and they seem to be treated... More

Yes, too bad I didn't read other reviews first. Gosh, you'd think they'd try a bit harder based upon them. First thing I noticed was that the pillows on the bed had the awful smell of fabric long-used and unwashed. I'm guessing the linens may have been washed (??), but that the pillows were so old that they retained the... More

This is the third time we have stayed here. This time we asked for a handicapped room which was dirty and small. After talking to the desk, they immediately moved us to a regular room which was clean. This really is an old motel. Usually not bad. The restaurant does not have very good food. The help is o.k. I... More

Stayed here with several ladies for a family event in town; I didn't make the reservation, and probably would not have chosen it based on the reviews. But it was better than I expected, given the age of the place. It is kind of like going back to the 60's, probably hasn't changed much since then. The lady at the... More

I want to make some quick points for anyone planning to stay here in the future. Check in : Needed to have a second credit card on file just in case. This is a first for me but not a big deal. Very slow assisting the guest checking in before me and I just waited patiently. Upon listened to the... More
