The Byron Hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood, easy to find from the sea us station... Maybe a 15 minute walk. The lobby & outdoor garden areas are beautiful. Our room was ok, however the bathroom had a foul door & our toilet did not work properly. They immediately moved us to a new room! The breakfast is good and...

I have been to Venice 5 times and always stayed at different hotels, this hotel is by far my favourite and I will be back next year,it is in a very quite location on the island of Lido and is only 5 minutes walk from the lovely beach facing the Adriatic sea and only 15 minutes walk from the vaperetto stop...

We have been travelling throughout Italy for over 20 years staying at all types of hotels from basic B&B through to top 5 star properties, and are pretty much always happy with our selection. We booked into the Hotel Byron for two nights as part of our 8 day trip to Northern Italy. Upon arrival we were welcomed by a...

I loved this place. Such a magical spot. Close to the beach and water taxis, restaurants and bars. We walked the whole island and loved its peace. Hotel Byron was an oasis amongst the greenery. The staff were helpful and delightful. Morning breakfast was worth the effort to get up early. Everything you could want for a good start to...

The hotel is in a great location for the beach, just a 5 minute stroll away! The hotel itself was clean, clean towels everyday and sheets are changed every 3rd day. Breakfast is a buffet of ham, cheese and salami, cereals, toast and fruit every morning which finished at 9.30am. It was just an average type breakfast! We were bored...

Loud, uninviting, scorching hot (inside!), compleletly void of any sense of good hospitality, a little run down, reached it's peak a while ago... the window wouldn't close, the water at breakfast smelled like fish, the coffee came out of a machine, the noise from in- and outside the building drove us as crazy as the unbearable heat in the bedroom,...

The Byron was nice and recommended. A great location 5 mins off the main Gran Viale and 2 mins from the beach. Staff were helpful and friendly Our room wasn't like the ones featured in the publicity shots but was adequate and clean. Downside was there were only small windows allowing poor natural light. Breakfast was included which was adequate...

We stayed here for 1 night and it's a lovely homely hotel, beautiful rooms and a lovely courtyard. Good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. It's in a very quiet area but still close to the centre of town. No bar which is unusual for a hotel. Lido is a lovely quite island in the lagoons around Venice with a...

Although the hotel is a little dated the staff are very good. The accomodation is of good size but not huge. Ensuites are adequate. The hotel is only a few minutes from an excellent restaurant and a further couple of minutes from the town. Breakfasts were good and the staff very helpful.
