We stayed at the Russo Palace Hotel for four nights. We booked a front facing deluxe room with balcony and we were very pleased. The room and balcony had a beautiful view over the lagoon towards Venice. Wifi enabled streaming, so UK TV could be watched easily. The reception staff were very helpful , advising us on vaporetto routes, sites...

Ivan and Sabrina were very good hosts at the hotel. The waiting staff were very pleasant and helpful. A good breakfast whilst looking across at St Mark's Square was priceless. Comfortable but compact room. Everything was clean. A great night's sleep. Very happy and would stay there again. Well priced for Venice. Jude and Tony, 18-22 September.

No questions to enjoy every bit of their breakfast with variety and freshly prepared bakery daily. This could beat a lot of hotels in the same league. The location was beautiful and shopping +restaurant were at the back street. But we were very disappointed for the management 's ignorance of providing the Rm # 401 to customers coming all over...

The hotel is very authentic with a real taste of Italy. Upon check in I was greeted by Lisa at the reception, she was wonderful and the check in process took a minute or two only, she helped with the luggage and was very pleasant. The room was very clean and convenient with comfortable beds and an amazing lagoon view....

Disappointing four stars hotel: good location, normal service, bad breakfast for a four stars hotel, room with a good size, toilet with no shower plate (the water falled to the floor, there was a hole in the floor of the toilet to let the water go) It's unbelievable s room with that toilet belongs to a four stars hotel....

The hotel is situated right on the lagoon waterfront with beautiful views over to Venice itself. Easily accessible on the waterbus route the Lido is lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of Venice. Its a really quiet promenade, although a little busier at weekend it does not disturb the quiet. Many bars and restaurants are just 10 mins walk...

Lovely, comfortable hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. Nicely furnished and well-maintained. Helpful, welcoming staff. Good selection of breakfast choices...meats, cheeses, eggs, yogurt, cereals, pastries, juices, hot drinks. Staff will make you a "real" cappuccino on request. Very accommodating re reservations and taxis. Short bus ride or longer walk to vaporetto stop...can get to Venice proper, Burano,...
