Villa Laguna is as beautiful as the photographs! The staff is exceptional, the rooms are lovely, and the outdoor garden with a view of Saint Mark's Square is excellent! The restaurant for dinner is excellent as well.... delicious food! While it takes a little longer to reach on the water bus, it really only adds about 10 minutes to the...

We found out about the Villa Laguna from a tripadvisor review of a different Venice hotel where the writer indicated he should have stayed at Villa Laguna for less money and a better experience! Well, he was right. First, the email correspondence I had ahead of time with Titziana, Carlo, and Fabio was very helpful and friendly (and timely!). We...

What a place to stay to get away from the throngs of tourists in the core while being as close as possible to the 10 min fry to get there. Great location with cool modern lounge style outdoor furniture overlooking fabulous sunsets over San Marco. Everything is reasonably priced (rooms, food, bar drinks that come with snacks). Views are free....

We stayed at the Hotel Villa Laguna rather than staying in Venice proper. What a great decision. While Venice is truly something to see, the crowds can be a bit like Disneyland in July -- shoulder-to-shoulder. Villa Laguna is on the island of Lido, which has spectacular views of Venice. The vaparetto station is very close (maybe 50 yards?), so...

We stayed for only one night at the Villa Laguna but we would certainly come back. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to our suite - what a lovely surprise to find that the hotel's rooms are almost all suites! The garden looks out across the Lagoon towards Venice and is a perfect spot for an aperitivo....

Having visited Venice on a number of occeasions we decided to stay on the Lido this year and fortunately booked this hotel, we arrived in style by private transfer from the airport an expensive but very enjoyable way to arrive. Excellent aspect with well maintained gardens overlooking the lagoon and very close to the terminal for water taxis. Breakfast was...

A short stroll from the River Taxi stop, this really is a prime spot to stay, just 10 mins from the hustle & bustle of St. Marks. The bonus is the benefit of a fantastic view as the sun sets behind St Marks Sq. Something you wont see if you stay on the main part. Nice walks plenty of restaurants...

At the Venice Lido I have, since several years, a flat where I am used to spend some weekends and short vacations. Therefore, knowing very well the resort, I feel entitled to state that, probably because of its proximity to the city, restaurants are a lot but almost all are either tourist-traps or restaurants of de luxe hotels, good but...

The view from this hotel is magnificent with the skyline of historical Venice a short vaparetto ride away. You can sit on the terrace with a prosecco in hand, hearing the water lap and watching the gorgeous Venetian sunset. A few years ago new management took over this boutique historical property and under the terrific leadership of Manager Antonio, the hotel...
