This is a beautiful hotel with a delightful staff. As you disembark the water taxi, you walk along the quaint streets on a sidewalk with walls overflowing with flowers. You feel as if you're walking through the flower market. The birds are chirping and the breeze carries those lovely floral scents. Then you arrive and walk through the archway into...

We arrived early on a Saturday and left late on Monday evening spending the weekend in Venice. My daughter and I had a room at the front of the hotel looking down on to the lovely outside seating area. We loved the position of the hotel being really close to the beach yet in walking distance of the ferries to...

Where do I start? First the good. The grounds are beautiful and so was the view from our room. The staff was ok but they always seemed like we we're bothering them when we ask a question. The breakfast was really good with a lot of choices. Best part of staying here. Now let the bad begin. First the staff...

We stayed here for a long weekend towards the end of the season and would recommend this hotel. The staff looked after us really well, nothing was too much trouble, rather refreshing. The hotel was clean and welcoming. The quiet location of the Lido provides a nice balance to the busy, crowded island of Venice. You can walk or taxi...

We stayed at the fontane for my 50th birthday and our wedding anniversary combined, and what a treat it was. Such a beautiful old hotel full of charm and character. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. We had dinner at the hotel on our first night and it was delicious as was the breakfast each morning which had a great selection...

The hotel has its own personality. The rooms have old style but are well maintained. The garden path to the side building is beautiful, as is the building itself. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the waiters attentive. If you want, there is a free water taxi to Murano island, with glass factory...

We chose this hotel so that we could have some relaxing in between exploring and walking miles in Venice itself. There was a good regular bus service to the Vaporetto, and then the waterbus itself made it so easy to get to Venice, Murano, Burano and all the other islands. We could leave St Marks square and be back in...

Trafalgar tour booked us into the Quattro Fontane Lido for 2 nights in Venice. Excellent location with easy water taxi to the center city and Burano/Murano. Safe area for exploring the beach neighborhood. Great breakfast! Great service!

Prior to going to the Quatro Fontana I read the reviews and was very worried but needn't have been. The hotel was very charming and quaint with an eclectic style. Our room was on the top floor in the annex which meant constantly walking up stairs as there is no lift but we soon got used to it and it...

I first ate here 10 years ago and enjoyed it so much I checked in for a week and enjoyed that too. On a recent Cunard Cruise around the Med we stopped at Venice for 2 days and I was keen to re visit with a friend who had not been before. We had booked a table and decided to...
