A big disappointment. The only 2 things of 5 star luxury about this place are the food and the price, the rest is three star maybe. Dated room falling apart. Dirty windows glass, detached baseboard, stained and peeling bathtub wall. Radiator peeling, toilet seat worn and cracked. Hearty breakfast but to have an omelette with mushrooms and salmon or other ingredients you have to pay an extra 12 or 14 euros. Inattentive staff. We waited for 20 minutes on the terrace and no one bothered to say hello or ask us if we wanted to eat. After calling a waitress we had to wait another 15 minutes to get drinks. At the beach level bar we were greeted with a: "we are closing" instead of a: "welcome gentlemen what can I bring you?". It was 17 minutes before closing and they charged us 44 euros for two Aperol spritzes and a bottle of water. A robbery. Extremely limited menu. Tables in the little restaurant / bar and restaurant (available only in the evening) on the same terrace. Some types of dishes available only from 18.30 to 21.30. Restaurant closed at 21.30 in August in a seaside resort, practically ridiculous. Suitable place for elderly people who eat at 6.30 pm and go to bed with the chickens. In general, little or no attention to customers and poor communication. After paying 1,647 euros for 3 nights and another 1,517 for the restaurant, we were unable to get a sunbed or deck chair to stay on the beach. All the tents occupied (according to them). They gave us a towel to lay on the sand, like commuters who take their sandwiches from home. Worthy of the zero-star pension from 30 euros per night. We had to opt for the swimming pool but we could not choose where to put ourselves because where we wanted it was booked (after more than 3 hours the "reserved" sunbeds were still free). The most total disappointment. Highly NOT recommended place.

We had a very spacious and comfortable sea view room. Our mattresses were excellent which is really important to have a goodnight sleep. The concierge has assisted us with organizing dinners, a nice private tour to Murano, Burano and to Venice and also with the booking on the ferry. We really appreciated it. All restaurants had really delicious dishes and the staff off these were really helpful. In addition there were kid’s menu available. We have enjoyed not only the meals and wines but also the fabulous view of the sea. Our kids liked playing on the long, sandy beach and if they have got bored with it we could enjoy the nice pool also. Our week here was just perfect for all family members.

We came to hotel to relax and stay at the beach. After a day of stay I’ve realize that this is the place I’ve never will be back. Beware: - rooms are very noisy, in the evening you hear like someone having a shower and goes to toilet and it feels like you are there with them, like this waterfall comes on you ! Try to sleep….. - to have place at the pool is also impossible. What they suggest is to go to stay on the sand with no umbrella, so you get burn on the sun ! - If you decide to take a cabana ( the only available is very remote ones and also expensive) you will not have the sea view, you will have a view of the more expensive cabana! And , there is no service available! So better bring your water with you … - if you reserve the table at the bar, there is not 100 % will be there at the time you booked. That’s what happen to us. We came the table was already given to someone else. - the managers at the hotel are not helpful and don’t care about us. - breakfast, they don’t aloud you to touch spoons to put food to the plate. There is person who do it this for you. Do to the heat the person is super sweaty and tired, touching the mask then the spoon then again the mask and on and on …. Oh and everyone is in line waiting for food. Pigeons are also everywhere , under the table …. Sanitary??? Oh no who cares. - concierge give you suggestions of the restaurant was impossibly terrible. This is the place where you simply can’t eat , the food is terrible and the owner is not pleasant! The restaurant name Valentino - Don’t go there !!!!! Ah yes, I’ve never saw such hotel ( and I travel a lot) where if you want to take shower after the sea, on the beach, they ask you to pay. Everything in the hotel is extra even the water !!!!!

This hotel has a lot of potential - the location on Lido with the direct Shuttle to Venice works really well - one can relax on the pool and beach, enjoy the quiet lido while diving into the history any culture of Venice. On the flip side the Hotel is a bit dated and just feels a bit under its potential. Service was nice though and it’s overall a good pick for a few days in Venice.

My husband proudly picked this hotel and upgraded to the presidential suite paying over $1,000 Euros a night. We were shown the room and I was horrified. There is cream colored carpet with bleach stains and dark stains. Had I been alone I would have changed rooms. I can overlook the cracked floor tiles in the bathroom but not dirty carpet. A book was left in the room stating the hotel used to be checked daily for details. Care is no longer given.
