Called for cocktails at Mode Bar within the Ausonia Hungarian Hotel & enjoyed delicious drinks (fabulous Mimosas) & snacks, with superb polite, sincere service. The building is absolutely beautiful, the prettiest in the area.
The staff is incredible. The room super comfy, clean and modern. The design is spectacular. The hotel offers a personal trainer for 45 min, we met Veronica, a super trainer who gave us a Hit session and a meta training session💪🏼🏃🏻♀️🙌🏼 She helped us to keep the balance between awesome pasta & wine and morning dopamine & fat burning 💆🏻♀️
Our original stay was cancelled due to Covid and we were provided with a voucher. From the first email to the hotel until we checked out each and every member of staff was helpful, friendly and on hand to assist. The hotel is spotless, rooms well equipped, massages available in the basement, ( approx £70 for 60 minutes), bar area beautiful, beach a five minute walk, ferry stop five minutes in the opposite direction. Swimming pool with ample beds with drinks and food served. The hotel is on the Main Street surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops. Transfers via the public ferry to and from the airport depart from each location at five minutes to the hour and the cost was 27 euro for a round trip. Ferry to various islands depart regularly and are simple to use. The hotel advertised a private beach however this was closed, as we were out of season. We used the blue moon beach club which was 18 euro for two beds and parasol. It had a lovely little restaurant and the hotel provided us with towels for our trip. WiFi was a bit temperamental and the beer a touch warm, but apart from that perfecto 👌 …
My wife and I enjoyed a truly fantastic stay at the Ausonia Hungaria. From my experience, this was truly a 5 star experience from a 4 star hotel. From start to finish, we were taken care of by a team of professional and attentive staff and I must commend the Hotel Management. The hotel itself is stunning, refurbished with wonderfully maintained gardens and an extensive partially covered front terrace which extends into an additional seating area for breakfast and dinner. In the evening, this terrace becomes a chillout bar with beds and loungers allowing you to fully relax and forget all about life's worries. The Swimming Pool area is secluded, clean and well maintained with a small area for lunch. The Waiter who looked after the pool was very friendly and provided a great drinks service based on an electronic messaging system which each lounger is equipped with. The Breakfast menu was just awesome and such good value for what you get. Included as standard was a basket of pastries & donuts, a plate of meats & cheese and a plate of fruit and fresh juice. You could then have the option of ordering eggs however you wanted them, with an additional optional extras like salmon. The room and hotel decor are modern-chic, all finished to a high standard containing a number of nifty features such as an integrated flat TV that rises out of the foot of the bedframe like a submarine periscope! Although the hotel is based on the lido part of Venice, for my wife and I it was worth the additional 20 minute boat trip to get to Venice because you get more bang for your buck compared to the other more vaunted and expensive 5 star hotels located in Venice. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice, and we will most definitely return again. Thank you once again for making our stay such an enjoyable one, and keep up the good work!…
2 nights here in a room that more than met our expectations ! From arrival the reception was 5 star ... a lovely cold drink while waiting for our check in and key and personally shown around the hotel by a very professional and friendly member of staff pointing out the design and features of the building and hotel . Our luggage was taken up to the room and it was perfect . The massive bed was ultra modern and the most comfy bed I think I have ever experienced in a hotel ! The room was stunning and pristine ! Air con was superb ... robes , slippers, minibar and lovely bathroom tho a tad unprivate as you could see the toilet from the bed through semi see through door ! We did have a laugh about that so just be aware that all is on view ! The staff were exceptional and especially the lovely waitresses at breakfast and the bar steward who attended the private pool serving drinks and was always friendly and ready for a chat . We loved the modern pool and surroundings. All in all I really wish we had booked to stay for longer . We felt really special there and had a superb time . Well done to all staff . Amazing !…
When we booked we did not know the hotel or anyone who had been there, on arrival at 19:30 the receptionist took over, the luggage disappeared and just a couple of signatures and we sat down to eat, the hotel has very recently been renovated and our room was perfect, in the morning we had breakfast and again it was excellent, all the staff should be congratulated (or who trained them should be) because they made you feel special, I misplaced my mobile phone and searched the breakfast room and reception area and found that I had left it under a newspaper, the next morning I was approached by a waiter asking if I had found my phone, that is special!
We booked a 3 day stay at the hotel which is on the lido, a short water taxi ride to all of Venice’s famous landmarks including St Marks square. This is a 5 star hotel built in 1920s and recently refurbished in true Italian style. Traditional with ultra modern design and facilities which work so well together. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. There is a relatively small but lovely spa offering traditional Thai massage - excellent. Our overall stay here was highly enjoyable, beds were incredibly comfortable. The only downside to our stay was the flooding in Venice on our last day. (It is after all November, traditionally known for “acqua Alta”). However, the advantage of being on Lido was that the flooding was light compared to the rest of Venice.
My wife and I stayed at the hotel for one night on September 30th, after three busy days in Venice. It was the perfect end to an amazing holiday! The hotel- the facade is a work of art and inside, the hotel is modern and comfortable. Rooms are luxurious, with bathrobes and large TV. You can also link your phone to the sound system to play spotify etc. The pool area is lovely and what we didnt known was that you get complimentary use of the spa! It was decedent! Saunas steam rooms and some fancy aroma therapeutic showers, that change the aroma and temperature as you walk through them. Staff- very friendly and helpful. We arrived three hours before check in just to store our cases; however, the receptionist asked us to wait 5 mins and got us a room that was ready, which was great! We were also able to store our cases the next day while we walked around Lido. There was a complimentry beer, a coke and some water in our room fridge. Tips- the rooftop terrace is one of the key selling points to this hotel. There is a Co-OP at the back of the hotel. We picked up a bottle of prosecco and a few beers and watched the sunset over the sea, with Venice to the right and a cruise ship passing by. It was picturesque! We had paid for a sunset boat tour the previous night, which wasnt even half as good! The food is good at the hotel, really enjoyed the breakfast. Prosecco, salmon and eggs to order. There is a restaurant just down from the hotel called Stella, which served the tastiest bruchetta we have ever had and a dynamite pizza for €7! Their house wine was also excellent and only about €6 for half a litre. Our only negative is that Lido has a lot of lizards and my wife isn't keen on them. There were also a lot of wasps on the beach. We didnt love Lido but will go back, purely for this hotel. …
This Hotel is the best place where you can stay to spend some times in Venice. It is in the center of the Gran Viale, and the construction is stunning: you can’t pass in front of it without take a pic! This place is a perfect mach beteween modern and classic style. Our room was very clean, the forniture confortable and functional, everything it was studied in detail. The swimmingpool and the rooftop are a magnificent plus: you have to visit it! They serve fresh food, homemade dishes, a breakfast with homemade cakes and a variety of fruit. Everything was perfect during our stay and we recomanded it!
I really don't know where to start! Took my wife to Lido, Venice for her birthday and we stayed in this magical hotel. We were so in awe of the astonishing finishing of this building that we we spent a number of minutes outside before even entering to check in taking in the beautiful artwork of the building. Upon arrival we were greeted with cold drinks by a very welcoming friendly group of multilingual staff who chose to spend a little bit of time with us before checking us into our room. They were very helpful and even recommended many things for us to do before we leave Venice. The room was fantastic with all the latest modern tech (mirror tv, sorround speakers with bluetooth facilities etc). We also received (on the house) a bottle of Prosecco on arrival. The staff were magical and very accommodating when it came to special requests, we were able to have breakfast at the rooftop on my wife birthday as suppose to having it on the terrace where it usually took place. We were also able to use the the spa 2 hours(booking required) which also had all the latest tech (aromatic showers, dry flotations & soft pack systems etc). Overall this is a beautiful place to stay and it's just 10 minutes walk from the beach and all boat taxis including the Alingula boat taxi that brought us straight from the airport terminal. There are many restaurants in the area, mostly on the main street which the hotel is situated on which are not too pricey. This hands down was definately worth the price you pay and will be coming back.…
