Looking out over Venice on one side and the natural habitat of the Lagoon on the other, Ausonia Hungaria embodies the charm of a 110-year-old building with contemporary design interiors, at the perfect intersection between a sumptuous past and the latest lifestyle trends. The early 1900s Liberty style and the precious polychrome ceramics of the facade merge with the refined interior design by Simone Micheli’s unique architectural concept and with the external covering realized by the eclectic British artist Joe Tilson, creating the most unexpected 5-star luxury hotel in Venice Lido. Surrounded by astonishing art and by a sense of freedom and nature immersion, Ausonia Hungaria gives life to an exclusive experience to enjoy relaxing moments and discover authentic flavours.

Lovely hotel on the Lido in a nice neighbourhood with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Very clean and modern rooms and great rooftop views and an amazing breakfast on offer. Only 15 mins by boat to the centre. The spa was also on offer but not the best and the massage we received was not of the expected standard even though the staff tried their best and were really pleasant

What a wonderful hotel. The staff from the beginning are so friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time. The rooms are spotless and the beds so comfortable. The rooftop bar is a treat and a sight to behold. Many many thanks to all the staff who made our holiday so special. To Sarah in the the mode who took care of us. To tomas who made the best aperol spritz. And to the wonderful Enrico who took care of us at the pool, Enrico was so helpful and so kind. Would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you all so much

Everything was perfect. A beautiful building, decorated inside with lovely pieces of art, photography, sculptures and even the carpet was a masterpiece. The staff were absolutely 5 star +++ who took care of our every need. Wonderful swimming pool with a great bar service; a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The main bar offers an array of cocktails and muse bouches and is a lovely welcome home after a day of sightseeing. We did not try the restaurant - not enough days - but it was situated on the front terrace overlooking the garden area. Fabulous location, 5 mins walk to the water bus terminal and 5 mins walk to a beautifully appointed beach with great beach bars, immaculate changing facilities, sunbeds and umbrellas. The rooms in the hotel are ultra modern and spotless and this was probably one of the best bathrooms I have ever had in a hotel. Generous in size, coffee machine, mini bar great TV with chrome cast so you can log into your Netflix etc. The breakfast is out of this world and non buffet - they serve you at your table with a platter of fresh sumptuous fruit, cold meats and cheeses, pastries and bread. You can also have the usual eggs, bacon, smoked salmon which they prepare to order. We stayed for 5 nights - not long enough if you want to combine beach days and sightseeing days so we are returning for 10 days which made it a little easier to leave. I would highly recommend this jewel for the perfect city/beach combination holiday.

Spent four days in Venice, staying on the Lido was a good decision. The hotel was charming, service good, breakfast excellent. We enjoyed evenings on the quirky terrace, the pool is well maintained and welcome after a day sight seeing. Ideal location for vaparetto.

I stayed there with my family ( two teens ) for three days to visit Venice. The hotel is very good, not only the architecture which is already a pice of art. All rooms are newly decorated and clean. The most rewarding point for me was the friendliness and support from the staff. It was so helpful. All my days with all arrangements worked well. Thanks s lot. We had s pleasant time in Venice.

Arrived for 3 nights on water taxi from the main station, easy check in. Then we were given the history of the hotel on route to our room which was interesting. Room was spacious and contemporary and the bed was nice and comfortable. Plenty of space for putting away clothes. The pool and area is good for relaxing and no issues with sun beds. A very nice bar area outside and a lot of choice from wines to cocktails. The breakfast is complementary and it is excellent. I don’t normally comment on breakfast but it comes with a great arrangement of fruit, hams and pastries all on separate dishes and well presented. You can also order a freshly cooked dish eg scrambled eggs and salmon. The staff are very professional, very helpful and friendly and nothing seems too much trouble. Location is great in the centre of the Lido so cafes and bars around to relax from a busy sight seeing day on the St Marks area with all the hustle and bustle. We would very highly recommend a visit and stay
