Villa Stella is a stunningly beautiful house, with the most friendly and helpful staff we've encountered so far!! Lovely facilities, everything clean, spacious and comfy. Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful and authentic, the island of Lido is a nice break from the hordes of people!! Breakfast was exquisite also and we could leave our bags after check in:) grazie!! Would definiately...

This place was wonderful! Everyone was very nice and accommodating, the breakfast was delicious (they make their own jams!), and the room was warm and lovely. It is separated from the actual island of Venice by a 20 minute ferry ride (7 euro), but Lido is beautiful as well and much calmer if you need to escape the tourists, at...

We are a family of 4 and we visited Venice along with my sister. We took 2 rooms at Villa Stella. I arrived late at night from Florence and was a bit worried as it wass my first time in Venice navigating thru all the waterbuses etc and that too with kids. But it turned out to be pretty easy....

Villa Stella was very good value, and in a quiet ideal setting. 15 minute walk or 5 minutes by bus from the Vaporetto, and a short trip to the centre of Venice, or the Lido's beaches. Room was small, but has everything you would need. Garden and outdoor areas ideal to sit out. Run by three sisters who, along with...

Villa Stella was good value for the price, a great location and the breakfasts were the best we had in our month of traveling! The room was small but clean and there is a lovely outdoor area to sit and relax. We would definitely stay there again!

We are on a 4 week trip across Europe, staying 3 or more nights wherever we stop. Of all the places we have stayed Villa Stella served the best breakfast. Villa Stella was a retreat from the crowds and bustle of travel. It is an easy 20 min vaparetto ride to Venice. About a 15 min walk to lido beach....

The family owned hotel Villa Stella is very clean with nice rooms, friendly staff and a decent breakfast. It is situated perfectly far from the very touristed central Venice! Easy to get around with bus and boat.

My husband, daughter, and son recently stayed at Villa Stella for one night after our cruise. We took a cab from the water taxi station which is a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk. The owners are friendly, speak English, and were very helpful in every way. The property has a beautiful setting with lovely gardens that had blooming...

Likes: Hotel is in a good location, surrounding is very green, breakfast is very good and a friendly staff. You have frequent buses which just takes 5 minutes to the Lido Vaporatte station. Dislikes: Too small rooms and smelling old A/C not functioning (although this is a seasonal thing, daily temperature development has to be considered), A decision not to...

I have stayed at the Villa Stella 6 times. By "real traveler" I mean someone who likes to sleep away from the crowds. Things such as a very good Laundromat and a deli right across the street, plus loan bikes to take to the seashore, and very good breakfast. If you got a timed based vaporetto ticket it good for...
