Located on Lido Island in the Venice lagoon. This hotel was a true charmer; cozy, warm, inviting, intimate. The locale was a delight. The town was beautiful. The rooms, typically European - compact. Breakfasts were served in a set of two small dining rooms. The staff were very friendly.

very Italian hotel in pleasant quiet area of the lido. 5 minute walk to either water bus to Venice, or to lido beaches. Arriving late the first night, we were shown to our room on top floor (booked by booking.com under genius discount). unfortunately, the carpet was soaking wet - as if they had tried to clean it, but water had drenched the carpet. squelch, squelch, squelch. They were unable to move us that night (as all fully booked) but moved us to a much larger, nicer room on lower floor the next day, with more modern decor and bigger bathroom. and brought us a bottle of proesson in an ince bucket! Large TV hiddenbehind giant ornate mirror - and TV remote missing. Hotel could not locate a replacement, but no matter as we didnt come to watch tv. breakfast buffet stunning - several Italian cakes, bread rolls, bread, cheeses, salami, mortadella, yoghurt, fresh fruit, stewed fruit, jams, pancakes etc etc. Foodie delight. lovely conservatory where we ate breakfast, pretty terrace and verandah where we could eat ancks in evening. slight hassle on check out, over payment and locakl tax (booking ,com clearly said this was included in our price), but sorted after husband showed screenshot of our booking and terms. If not for the minor issues, which were resolved fairly easily, would have given it 5 stars.

Have just come back from this hotel, we decided to stay at the lido as it was a lot quieter. We got a water taxi from the airport to the lido and it was only a 5 min walk from the boat drop off to the hotel. We arrived quite late and were hungry but nothing was open so we were very happy that the bar man made us a drink and there was mini bar in the room with some yummy snacks. Breakfast was served from 7:30 but on our departure day they allowed us to go down at 7 as we had to leave the hotel at 7:30. Breakfast was ok - the Usuals, cereals, ham, cheese, croissants, toast, fruit, yoghurts, eggs and pancakes. We tried making a latte using their coffee Machine but found out over there a latte is just warm milk so if you do use this machine have a cappuccino. Some receptionists have better English than others and I think a few had no clue what we were talking About half the time, but all were very friendly and helpful. We had a superior room booked but don’t expect a UK 4* superior style room it is very vintage but lovely and we had a balcony which was nice just a shame it rained during our stay. The beach is a 10 min walk if that just to the left of the hotel. We went for an evening stroll one night very very pretty and quiet. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely return

Spent a few days back at this hotel. It is in a side road away from hustle and bustle of the centre. Really enjoyed our time.Staff friendly and helpful. The room we had was spacious. We had a balcony with table and two chairs which was lovely. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Lido is lovely and easy access to Venice and other islands. We tended to shy away from main areas and crowds in Venice because we had been several times before. Walk out in the back streets and find little cafes and friendly people if you have opportunity. Lots of restaurants to choose from on Lido.

Nice welcome by lady on reception, think she is manager/owner,got us a room with balcony.Trouble was the balcony is very narrow and only had one chair. The standard room we had was very small, the bathroom door would catch on the bed when opening! The bathroom itself had a shower with a multi jet unit, but would of preferred a proper over your head shower unit as couldn't really was your hair properly. In your room there is a shortage of power points (had to plug in kettle by TV).The bed was hard but at least we got a mattress topper which helped. The Breakfast was a basic continental type, consisting of toast/various cakes and warm lumpy scrambled eggs and cold boiled eggs.Tea and coffee from a machine, and very watery orange squash, overall a poor effort of a breakfast. The hotel has a basic bar with bottle beers and wines which isn't always manned, but the prices were reasonable. The staff of this hotel are good and especially one chap who I think was from Malaysia. But I would say this hotel needs updating as at moment I would say was more like a 3 star B & B.
