This is a hard property to rate. It is a little old motel, in a little old town. Everything works and the room is clean, but it's old. The AC works, as did the refrigerator, the TV is a flat screen, the wifi was good enough to stream, the shower gave steady hot water and the bed in my room was comfortable. I think the room was good for what it is, but of course, doesn't compare to a new facility, of which there aren't any in this little town. I'd stay here again.

I checked the reviews on this and found them all to be pretty positive. It concerned me because the last review was two years old or older. So we stayed here. I am surprised the county health department has not shut this business down. The air conditioner was full of mold and/or dirt. But it was so hot that I was forced to turn on the air conditioner. The carpet was filthy. There were holes in the ceiling. The chain lock on the door was missing one side so it could not be locked, only the door knob lock. We just wanted to survive the night and get out of there. I feel bad giving a poor review because my guess is the owners are elderly and need the income. But, this place needs some serious attention. Very cheap and you get what you pay for.

During our vacation we thouroughly enjoyed our stay at the Redford Motel. Such an inviting and friendly experience. We will definitely return for a longer stay. The owners had so many suggestions of things to do for families we need to go back to complete the exciting list.

We paid an additional $20 for our dog and stayed in one of the three little rooms next to the office. We were looking for discounts but they don't give any. We asked for one bed and she gave us two and we had a good night's sleep. There are trains near by but we didn't hear any during the night. Our room came with a shower stall instead of a bath tub and it was a perfect place to keep the dog's water and food so we wouldn't mess up the carpeting. Plenty of places to walk the dog. Even though the room was old, I couldn't smell any cigarette smoke but my daughter thought she could just barely detect it. Linens were clean and we would stay here again.

This motel is astonishingly moderate in his price, however it could benefit from a loving hand in re. to the average condition. Not, that anything would not work, but it is clearly visible that it is an older accommodation. But you also have to see the very moderate price range, and one cannot get a 5-star motel for a 1-star price. All in all it is well worth the money, it was clean, the shower was working, and there was even internet available, all without extra fees. We would stay there again if we were near by.
