My husband and I stayed at the Wander Inn with our dog and had a great time. We really just needed a place to sleep & were pleasantly surprised with more than we needed here. Our room had a full kitchen (including a stove!) and came with a coffee maker and coffee. The full size fridge was helpful too, as we had packed our food for the weekend. The owner was very kind and the town of Crouch is a very cute mountain town that isn't overrun with tourism. Overall this is a great place to stay at a great price.

From the first time you pull into Crouch, Idaho you notice that you are in a very unique place. A very short distance from Garden Valley but in out view a GREAT spot. The room was clean and had a good smell. Came with TV, microwave, coffee pot, wine bottle opener, refrigerator. All in a very cute cabin in this great place. We stayed several days and never got bored.....too many things to do in the area. Remember, you are in the mountains and as we were looking for was a Great place to lay our heads and relaxing morning out on the deck... We got them both.. Owner is a very nice lady and neither one of us can say anything except Great things about her, keep it up. Personal note lol...Your jalapeños and tomato plants still look better than ours... Inside word to owner.. Hope this helps and that you also enjoy this little Gold mine in Crouch Idaho.. We did and we will be back.... See you soon..

Set right in the middle of everything. The store and restaurants are within easy walking distance. I went for a run and the views were gorgeous,. People in town are very friendly and welcoming. One morning I saw about 50 elk grazing out in the fields and at least a dozen deer. Wildlife abounds. I hope that I can come back with my family next time. Maggie, the owner is really helpful and very accommodating. I arrived much later than expected, and she was waiting very friendly. She is knowledgeable about the area and gives great recommendations for recreation and eating. If you want a lodge, this is not it. If you want to be comfortable at a great price, then you will not be disappointed. I would definitely stay here again. I tested the wifi speed and was very impressed with the speed considering the remote location of Garden Valley.

My friend and I went to Crouch to explore the hiking trails and hot springs. What a great valley for this! Wander Inn Motel & Cabins was an ideal place to stay. The price couldn't be beat at $55/night. Sits right in the small town, right off the highway. Cute rustic cabins with with great hospitality by Maggie. She gave us a warm country greeting. Provided us with maps, directions, and suggestions to fulfill our adventure interests. We stayed in cabin #1 that has a small kitchenette and a cute porch with chairs and a little table. We enjoyed an evening night cap and breakfast on the porch. The weather was gorgeous! The cabin was clean and provided what we needed. No blows and whistles, but we didn't come for that. We came for the great outdoors, fresh air, and adventure. I look forward to going back to Crouch for more hiking and hot springs while staying at Wander Inn Motel & Cabins.

If you are looking to stay at the Hilton, Garden Valley probably isn't for you. If you want to get away for the weekend, do some shopping, and some good eating, head on up, you wont be disappointment. To start, the owner of the wander in was one of the nicest people I have met in a long time. She was very willing to go the extra mile for us, and had lots of information on the surrounding area. She recommended hitting up the snow tube hill which was a blast! We also went up to terrace lakes and swam in their amazing pool. The rooms were what you would expect in a motel, but clean and smelled fine. The beds were a little hard, and the tv was a little small, but for the amount of time we were actually in our room, it was just fine. Overall, nice owner, nice place to sleep, and amazing prices for the area. We will be back.
