Stayed recently at the Teton Valley cabins so we could take a quick trip to the Tetons. The room we were in had 2 queen beds, a small kitchenette area with a 2 burner stove, microwave, and small fridge which held more than we'd expected. There were some utensils and dishware in the room. The bathroom had a smaller size shower, sink, and toilet area and was very adequate. We didn't use any of the other amenities in the cabin complex. The cabin was small, but fine for my grown daughter and myself. She remarked that she wouldn't have wanted her young boys with her as there would have been no indoor space for them to play. There was a table and two chairs and a nightstand between the beds. The beds were comfy -- but I had an issue with them due to their height. I'm short and admittedly overweight, and the edge of the bed was about level with my waist. I had to climb on a chair to get into the bed. I had the same issue with the kitchen setup. The cabinet over the sink was too high for me to reach easily. I'd recommend that the owners invest in some folding step-stools in case they have more vertically challenged guests in the future. We traveled during the Covid-19 crisis and the rooms seemed clean. We did take our own sanitizing wipes and wipes down things like door knobs, light switches, hard surfaces, faucets, and remote controls just in case. We also took our own pillows and sleeping bags to use in place of using the comforters up by our faces -- just to be extra cautious. It was the first time we'd traveled since the pandemic started and we were trying to be as careful as possible. I would plan on returning if we wanted to stay in Driggs again in the future, but I'd make sure to take a step stool with me.…
The staff was super helpful and friendly. They let me forward mail to the location and had great communication. The cabins were fun and roomy. They were also a great value for those planning to visit Grand Teton.
The cabins were very clean and quiet! Staff was friendly! The only complaint was the bed! It was comfortable to sleep in. The trick was getting into it. We are tall and this bed was at least 3 feet off the floor and against the wall. Needed some kind of step for it! Everything else was fine. Nestled back in the trees, ample parking and the road noise quieted down after dark.
Our 2nd stay at Teton Valley Cabins while in area (prior in 2017). Very clean, comfortable bed, mini fridge/microwave, reliable WIFI, and reasonable rates for area; important qualities to me for lodging. Cabin cooled down quickly with fan in summer evenings. Most impressive is that manager contacted me later in day after checkout that we had left behind an item very important to us and then mailed it to our home. Very grateful! Will stay here when in area again.
We were pleased to get one of the dog-friendly cabins at Teton Valley Cabins. The location was great, the room was basic, but had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. We would stay here again.
