This room was set up like it was for a single person . One nite stand only . One very uncomfortable chair . No table . No desk . The place was not busy . She said this was the best she could do for us . It was $118.00 a nite . We were charged $161.28 on our M/C . Ouch . I would not recommend this place to any Canadians , that's for sure . It looked clean but my feet were black from the floor . I walk bare feet most times as it's easier for me to walk without shoes . I washed my feet before I went to bed so I know my feet were clean . When I mentioned this to the owner she got all huffy as if I was lying to her . Poor People skills & floors that needed washing . . No tv unless you had a subscription to something like Net Flix or one of the other paid subscribers .

We often went there on our anniversary years ago. We were in Coeur d Alene and wanted to check it out. It was recently remodeled and looked clean. When we asked to see a room were treated as if that would be a terrible imposition, even though no one else was there. " Cant you see I am busy" (vacuuming the office carpet) "Do not step into the room!" (When we opened the door to just look in.) By the way we were treated this hotel now resides at the bottom of our list of possibilities......

I've lived in North Idaho long enough to witness her demise, and Coeur d'Alene was the first to fall: traffic, malls, chain stores and corporate motels.... But drive a couple blocks East of the crowds and you can still glimpse her former, small-town uniqueness. The neighborhood also boasts Coeur d'A's coolest, tastiest pub-restaurant: the Moon Time, and the State is just a block or two down the street. The State's owner-manager reminded me of why nearly thirty years ago I fled the city and first fell in love with and settled Northern Idaho, and though I'm no doubt a part of the trend that has nearly loved her to death, it's good to know there are still some real people up here, offering real service and attention. So, it's small, it's old, and it's funky, and if you want sterile and heartless, C d'A can certainly serve up a heapin' helpin' of chain alternatives, but if you want a taste of the Idaho you actually left home to see, check out the State.

Came to Coeur d'Alene for school & stayed at this motel off & on over 6 weeks. Ideal for this student! Clean, well-kept rooms w/ fridge & microwave in each one, comfortable beds, nice towels! Ethernet & wireless. I never used the TVs. Motel rules favor single occupants, and peace and quiet. Very reasonable rates. Manager is onsite every day and keeps a close eye on the premises.

Needed a place to crash and shower at the end of a 13 hour drive. This was it. The place was clean and perfect for my wallet. The manager was great! High speed internet, microwave, frig, and cable..... Going back in August!!
