Ron and crew could not be more accommodating and friendly. They obviously care about their guests and want them to have an enjoyable time. There are accommodations for the roughing it in tent types to pull through RV sites with fully equipped utilities including cable TV to those of us who like the wood cabins with a porch swing. And... We went camping here for a local getaway. It was our first time here and we all enjoyed this place. Our two boys 10 and 11 enjoyed the pool. We all enjoyed taking the paddle boats and canoe out. There is a large marshy area to paddle about in, at the end of Coeur d'Alene Lake. There is an area... More

FREE FIREWOOD, Free boats with life vests for all sizes. Free hot showers and free WIFi. The NEW owner is working hard to fix up the place and fix its bad reputation. We were amazed how easygoing the new manager Kyle is, and how much the new owner Ron loves this place and is working hard to restore and enhance... More

Don’t be fooled by the website pictures and description of Lake Coeur d’Alene Camping Resort. It is not on the lake, but connected by a swampy marsh. All the campsites are spaced as tightly together as possible. Campfire pits are too close to the road, your neighbor’s trailer, or your own vehicle. The RV spots are very narrow and tight... More

The owners/operators of this resort should not be in the hospitality business. While the property is beautiful and offers a lot of things to do, the staff ruin the whole experience. If you enjoy being talked to and scolded like a small child for making noise, perceived parking violations, etc., go for it! The rules state no firewood can be... More

Pool was good tho near dump stn so got smelly when trailers pulled thru. Found management very accommodating and helpful. Location was great. 1min off freeway and it was easy trip... More

My husband and I and 3 other families have been coming to CD'A for two years and we are looking for our 'yearly' campground. We came to visit some friends for dinner at 4pm. Despite plenty of room for parking in their site, we were snapped at to move our vehicle to the front office and check in. We didn't... More

We enjoyed our family reunion by renting a cabin style property. Location was pretty with a number of amenities. Overall experience was good except for the short fused property owner/manager. NOT A PEOPLE PERSON. HIS CUSTOMER SERVICES and COMMUNICATION SKILLS are lacking and very confrontational. He even said the F word in front of my children during his uncontrolled tantrum.... More

I just got back from my first camping trip with me and my two kids. For a first trip, this place had everything and more that we could need. The camp site WAS small but I really didn't have a problem with it, it had more than enough space for my one tent and I lucked out and got a... More

I tented there June 16, 2014. I had to clear away the goose crap with my tenting dustpan to make room for my tent and a pathway back to the car (took 15 minutes). A guy drove up in his gator and asked if everything was okay. I complained about the goose crap and he said that the campsite bordered... More
