What a charming property! My family and I finally stayed at this hotel. The decor in the room was very nice and we had a nice view of the trees with the snow on it right outside of our window. Omg, the best part about this hotel is the comfy bed & pillows as well as breakfast being included. So worth it! We were fortunate enough to stay on New Year's Eve. This also happened to be our wedding anniversary. The owners were kind enough to help us arrange a private chef to prepare a 7-course anniversary meal that was phenomenal. The quaint decorations in the lobby transformed us into a Dickens Village winter wonderland. The property, streams, and ponds provide a serene setting that is breathtaking. Excellent stay. We will be back often. Thank you Log Inn owners and staff.

The clean room was spacious and the shower made our day. Plenty of counter space in the bathroom made it a breeze to spread our toiletries out.

Comfortable bed and plenty of seating options in/outside of the room.

The breakfast was crazy good!
Yes they had the flip-flop waffle machine but the owner made a few things you never see at breakfast-
Homemade poppy bread !
( and real butter available to spread )
2nd surprise-
We “caught” her picking raspberries off the large bushes in front of the office- lo and behold - fresh berry parfait was ready to eat !
Only in season so we did good on timing !
Very friendly place !

Highly recommend!

Even had a relaxing nature trail with goldfish ponds and running water! And plenty of flowers to enjoy.

This place had me from first sight from the highway! It has loads of curb appeal and inviting charm — flowers and lovely areas for shady relaxation, conversation and meditation; a warm friendly owner; chairs and tables outside the rooms to enjoy the weather and views. The decor inside is inviting and it’s clear this place has been lovingly decorated and cared for. Front and back windows (that actually open for fresh air if one wants, which is a plus for us) give more light. The bathroom is large and there is plenty of counter space which is sometimes not the case in older motels. For me, the bed was a bit soft and I was glad I had my little pillows to help with comfort, but my husband loved it and I have to say I did sleep well. We loved the place as did the friends we were traveling with and I would gladly stay here again — and longer! A great value.

My Dad, two dogs, and I are on a road trip.
Beds made for Goldilocks, they were just right.
Pillows were great.
Shower head is a comfortable height, hot water, and great pressure.
Room is so clean and clutter free.
Great last minute decision to stay.

The owners were very polite and accommodating. There was no power during a major storm and they still were accepting guests. The rooms were rustic, yet updated and their staff were fantastic. Breakfast was simple due to the power outage, but the company for coffee was great.

This little Inn is well priced yet super clean and comfortable. Our King bed room included a table with w chairs and a large chair, night stands and tv stand. All the furniture is made of logs. The large bath bathroom suite area has the coffee bar, microwave & small refer on a lig stand too.

This facility was probably once a motor court where you drive up to your room and park in front. So convenient and no stairs to lug you luggage up.
One of the best features of the Log Inn is the warm and friendly lobby & owners. The lobby has a fireplace with comfy sofa and chairs and a warm atmosphere for you yummy continental breakfast. One of the tasty treats is homemade lemon bread made by a local resident. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable.

We didn't use the jot tub so can't review that feature.

This is a great spot to stay for many reasons. We had a motel room, which was very spacious, very clean, and with all the amenities you could want (microwave, fridge, TV, wifi, breakfast). Wifi worked well. Breakfast had a lot of options, including a delicious poppyseed bread. The room was bigger than expected, including a table and chairs inside and a table and chairs outside, which we appreciated as we got take out food from a local restaurant and ate outside our room. The grounds are very nice and well-kept. There is a short nature path around the grounds that was an enjoyable walk. The staff was very friendly as well. The Inn is located a couple of miles out of the downtown of Bonners Ferry, which is a small town - the location lends itself to great stargazing. Highly recommend these accommodations to anyone passing through this area or coming to stay a while. If we are every in this area again, we will choose the Log Inn!

We enjoyed our stay at Bonners Ferry Log Inn. The room was decorated very nicely with the extra homey touches of decorative pillows on the bed, blanket draped over the chair, and a table and chairs on the front porch, outside of the room. The bed was very comfortable as well. We will definitely return.

Best place in Bonners Ferry to stay! We were roadtripping from Montana back down to Boise and this location was a perfect stop on our travels. It also had great proximity to nearby hiking trails and nature reserves so we could explore Bonners while in town. The rooms are beautifully updated and very spacious. We loved getting our breakfast in the AM and coming back to sit on the porch. The grounds are so serene, we enjoyed getting to walk around. It always says something about a business when they have employees who have worked there for a long time and that is what Bonners Ferry Inn has. It feels like they treat their employees like family and their employees treat their guests the same way as a result.

We had no idea what to expect. What we found was a hotel I would recommend to anyone. First there is value, the cost very reasonable. Next what we got at check in was the owner who was one of the most personable people you could ever meet, Friendly ad willing to share stories and family history. The lobby was incredibly quaint and you could see incredible detail and thought that went into the decorating. The lobby had a Northwest feel and the thought that went into the outside walking trail fountains and ponds compliment the Northwest feel. The smell of the evergreen trees in a gentle breeze.

When we walked into the room the attention to the details was immediately obvious. It felt like being in a log home. The floors were new as was almost everything. There was a full vanity outside the shower and toilet. Fantastic lighting for my wife and little things like cords to plug your phones into. Sitting tables inside the room with chairs and sitting tables outside the room.

The breakfast was anything you could ask for.

Incredible value for the stay and one I plan to come back to when we visit Bonners Ferry next time. My wife and I loved our one night stay.

My ONLY suggestion is the key lock in room 9 needs a touch of lubrication.

Hi Genie, I am so sorry for the delayed response, my husband and I just recently purchased the Log Inn in December 2016! I was going through our Trip Advisor and see that you previously contacted the Inn. Our log furniture was made by a local however he has since passed away unfortunately. He was extremely talented! We do have a few wood love seats and single chairs available for sale. Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing any. Thank you, Abbey Pipitone
