This is a fun and friendly hotel with a great downtown location. The food in the restaurant is very good. Happy hour in the lounge is an added bonus during the week from 4-6pm. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable!

From the arrival in the drive until the departure from the hotel, it was a wonderful experience. Front counter staff was very friendly and professional. Room was very comfortable as was the bed. CLEAN room. Wonderful room service. On time delivery. Quiet room. Overall, another great stay.

First impression - parking is a pain (15.00 self parking or 22.00 valet per day) . The lobby is nice, the bar and restaurant area's are great. The first room had no air circulation and we had to move rooms which was in better shape (but was on the 4th floor and it smelled like a swimming pool). Honestly, its an "okay" hotel. Looks great on the outside, but average rooms for the price.

Room Tip: HIgher up floor is best (to avoid street noise), 4th floor is nice, but pool smell.

Great location, and pretty lobby, but I was disappointed when we saw our room. There was peeling paint, mold in the bathroom, several stray hairs on the tub and floor, and our comforter was wet and had stains on it (which housekeeping did replace). We had to call twice for them to bring a rollaway bed up for our son, even though I requested it at check in. When we finally got the “rollaway”, it was actually a cot with exposed springs and the housekeeping crew had to make it up in our room. And we paid an additional $25 for the cot. Free shuttle to the airport was a plus, but overall I was not impressed.

ElizabethKelly43 - I appreciate your feedback on your experience with us here at The Grove Hotel. I am very sorry it did not meet your expectations. I will use this as a training tool for our team members to ensure we are providing the best possible service and that the quality of our rooms reflects our standards. I have sent over an independent email to you as well. I hope you will be willing to give The Grove another try and see these are not the typical circumstances we want any of our guests to experience.

Wonderful spot for a quick trip through Boise. We were on a road trip staying only for the night but this was the perfect location to walk to food, drink, and Freak Alley! The staff at the front desk was very kind and the room was exceptionally clean.

The Grove has wonderful staffing, clean functional rooms, and wonderful restaurant inside hotel. The food was amazing. They have bicycles to rent. Boise is a lovely town with many great restaurants and a fun river. On the river there is tubing and even surfing.

I felt so welcomed and well cared for during our stay at The Grove Hotel in Boise! Chris at front desk, Vince, Gabe, Reed, Devon, and Maverik on Valet all were such a huge help when I needed it most. My son was needing surgery there in Boise and truly The Grove was our home away from home and took care of our needs! Also centrally located where I could run to the stores I needed to within minutes!

Had a great week-long stay here. Brittnee is a PHENOMENAL employee. She served our large meeting group during the day, and by night dealt with a large group at the lobby bar with ease, day-in, day-out throughout our week's meeting. Just a great, hard working person with a wonderful attitude and we appreciate her a lot! Grove staff - pay attention - high-quality hospitality staff are in short supply and she is a keeper!

Truthfully, it was more than we can normally afford, but we got a conference rate. I was ready to hate Boise. Let me tell you, staying at the Grove changed my mind. The best part? The swimming pool and gym were amazing- the best I've ever experienced! We never had to use the car! We could walk everywhere, To Goldies for breakfast, Trader joes for snacks, Bonefish grill for dinner. The zoo, discovery center, library, museums, park all clean and safe and walkable. I wish I could go again.

Found a great rate on a third party site for a Thursday night. Wanted to stay close to the Boise VA to be there early for a 6am surgery. Our room was on the 8th floor and looked out onto the 4th floor outdoor patio, and capitol boulevard. Great view, and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. Got a wake up call at 4am, hubby needed his coffee, couldn’t get the in room machine to work. We called down to the front desk and told them of our dilemma, they brought him up two cups with creamer within 5 minutes! He was very appreciative of that! We had to leave to get to the VA at 530am, and we were apprehensive about getting in and out of the parking garage. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and called down to the garage to have someone standing by to help us get out if we needed it. That was a great relief! We would definitely stay here again.
