We really have enjoyed our stays here! The staff is fantastic- -everyone is friendly and attentive. Great location, very very dog friendly:), we love Chandler's next door and some rooms have windows that open which we appreciate.
I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel 43! The room I stayed in was spacious, very clean and it was even a wellness room. As someone who suffers from a skin allergy, it was definitely appreciated being put in the wellness room because chlorine and irritants are reduced, which normally give me hives. Everyone was also very nice and accommodating and I loved how close the hotel was from everything located in the heart of downtown Boise.
What a cozy hotel! I had a beautiful room on the top floor with a direct view of the Capitol building and the snow capped mountains beyond. The bed was a delight with so many pillows, I slept like a baby! They have access to a world class gym across the street and the free bike rentals were the perfect way to explore downtown on a sunny day. The staff couldn’t have been nicer day or night, everyone greeted me by name every time, and they even offered to waive the overnight valet fee at checkout as a “farewell gift” without any prompting or questioning (I fully intended to pay and did not question the charge). It’s the little things that count, and I will definitely return the next time I find myself in Boise!
Traveling for business during COVID-19 can be a stressful time, but Hotel 43 is refreshingly on top of things. The gals at the front Desk, (I believe their names were Ashley and Sam?) were incredibly friendly and helpful. The valet, Raymond, was also very professional and on top of things. The rooms were nicely decorated, and even though I was on the 2nd floor I didn't notice any serious noise coming from the street. The location is great, right in the middle of downtown and only about 10 minutes (if that) from the airport. Some of the other folks staying in the hotel were very lax about wearing their mask in public, and indeed were very hostile to an employee when they politely requested that they put their mask on. However, that is certainly not the Hotel's fault. After all-You can't fix stupid!…
I stayed here for a week. While there are some rough around the edges things here, I'd still say Hotel 43 is the best in Boise. The good: free wifi, nice rooms and the on-site restaurant (separately managed but very good). The staff are friendly and helpful. What needs work: they tell you that housekeeping is only every few days, but I still ran out of shampoo and soap. I had to call and request these things but they were promptly addressed. Also, they're trying out a new parking app that just doesn't work. In all, a very good stay. Room for improvement, but very good overall.
