What a wonderful, friendly place to visit. The staff was all smiles all the time. The atmosphere was so warm and cozy with all the amenities you could ask for. The well maintained golf course is challenging, yet not punishing. Very woman friendly...no hugh carries to worry about. Just fun golf! Can not wait to come back.
We recently spent our anniversary weekend at the resort. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience! From the moment we booked the weekend to the moment we checked out, all of the staff was wonderful! We were upgraded to stay in one of the cottages, as our adult son came over from TN to meet us. The cottage was beautiful. Only negative were a few broken tiles in the bathroom. My husband and son played 2 rounds of golf and enjoyed the course, and some games of pool afterwards! Every interaction with staff was positive. I ran into the girl who checked us in who remembered us and made sure we had everything we needed. The grounds were well maintained. Gorgeous views! In this present day, it was certainly nice to feel welcomed. I can't wait to go back!
We've stayed here many times. Everything is always exceptional including the rooms, service, and dining! This place is truly a getaway. Perfect place for an anniversary or weekend trip. I don't always take the time to leave a review, but upon glancing at the reviews here I saw one from "Brooke G" that was shocking. And to be honest, I don't believe it. There had to be more to that story than was told, especially considering it was in a bar with folks drinking. You can't always jump to conclusions just because things don't go your way, or maybe when you've had too much to drink. Listen to the 99% of other reviews here and know, this place is top notch and hard to beat! I'll be back again and again for sure.
Our first time to Brasstown Resort and we will hopefully be back many times. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. I can't say enough about all the staff members who were so friendly and accommodating in every area from the front desk to the bar to restaurants and spa. It was our anniversary weekend, and the servers in the Dining room were so nice in helping us celebrate.
The employees were all pleasant. The buildings were all clean and well maintainer. There is a woodsy feel to the place which I liked. The grounds surrounding the resort were all beautiful with a golf course for those who golf. The swimming pool was heated and had 2 hot tubs, one in one out. The pool was also inside and out. It was on the small side but a nice pool with surrounding deck chairs in a scenic area. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was outstanding. The room was not remarkable in any way but it did the job keeping us comfortable. The restaurant had very good food and service. The downstairs grill had very good food too. There are a lot of comfortable chairs in the main lodge with a gigantic fireplace made of stones that is beautiful. Outside the main area are rocking chairs and sitting chairs with views of the spectacular mountains and scenery nearby. I would definitely consider returning here for another stay. We stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely time. We rented a boat on nearby lake Chatuge and had a great time. We also went to Brasstown Bald mountain top which is about a 25 min drive from there. If I had to make any complaints they would be there is not restaurants nearby. Also if you are allergic to poison ivy, I saw it all over the grounds and they would do well to try to get rid of it.…
It’s my first time in Georgia. And it’s such a beautiful place with AMAZING staff. Brian-driver,he is very intelligent and polite man, David at the bar can easily communicate with everyone and Malbec was delicious, big thanks to blond lady who cleaned my room 508, she gave me everything I asked for. I want to THANK the front desk lady( sorry forgot her name) who spent 20 min on a phone with me to guide me where to go in the middle of the night, to find a front desk. Next day I realised to find a correct address, just type a dining room at Brasstownvalley and then GPS will take you exactly to the Front desk. Horses are wonderful, EBay was such a good boy. Archery class it’s a lot of fun. Such a beautiful area to walk in the evening. Or just to sit and watch sunset on the terrace. I got a package where breakfast was included, it was simple, but delicious. Everyone at the restaurant was helpful and kind. They also provide everyday coffee and water in the room, as many as I need for free. If I could I will go to this place 3-4 times a year, just to relax, but next time I’ll get a room with a balcony. My room was facing a parking lot, but you don’t hear any noise, just lovely birds. They have very convenient and free parking lot. Everyone is running to help or to open a door. I travel few times a year, to different states, but I’ve never seen such a GREAT service. Gym was super clean. Pool area is very cozy under the trees. Rooms can be a little bit prettier and I wish they respond on time to emails. But even all these little limitations are nothing compared to the experience I’ve had at Brasstownvalley resort. If I forgot someone’s name, I am sorry, but all of you guys are amazing. And of course drive to have a lunch to “Paris and company” what a nice restaurant with a gorgeous view. ♥️…
Our family had two rooms plus the parlor in the Rhododendron cottage . The parlor gave is a "living room" feeling to our gathering. The accommodations were very nice. The staff was exceptional, with their helpful, friendly ways. I recommend this to anyone wishing to get away for a very pleasant time.
I had a great experience with getting a facial and a hot stone massage. The staff were all professional, courteous, and kind. I would definitely recommend this spa. You should know that they automatically charge you gratuity on each service you receive at 20% per service.
It had been 10 years since I last visited this area, it was great to be back on the Brasstown Valley resort property for our special steak cooking competition event. Because the property was completely booked, I did have the opportunity to spend one night in the lodge, before being able to move into my cabin. The resort was as clean and top notch as I had remembered it, we dined in both the upstairs restaurant in the downstairs bar and grill and enjoyed ourselves. All of the staff did an outstanding job of trying to meet the needs of many of us not only as individual resort guest, but as well as a very big cooking organization. From the front desk staff, the nice gentleman cleaning the windows in the hallway, to the folks working at the valet, everybody had a smile, and seemed to appreciate the business that we brought to the resort.…
Yeap I said anywhere, NOW I havent been to all the Mountain Resorts in the world but when you come to Brasstown Valley Resort, you wont want to go anywhere else. Whether is for business, an event, a wedding or golf outing, you wont go wrong with Brasstown Valley Resort. The food is wonderful, Seafood buffet on Friday nights, Prime Rib on Sat nights and the best Sunday Brunch in Georgia. The Golf is fantastic and you wont find a better golf course condition wise in Georgia other than that course over in Augusta! Great atmosphere, a great staff and the best mountain views! Come anytime of the year!
