Wonderful weekend getaway. Relaxing environment and great food! 5th floor room with fireplace and great view didn’t disappoint. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Too cold for use of pool or outside activities. Will visit again!
I enjoyed my room, and it was in a great location. My refrigerator door would not close, and they replaced it immediately. The services were top notch. I would like to come back, however, I do not like the mountains.
I took advantage of the winter room special and booked a special birthday weekend for my boyfriend. The resort is amazing. We had a King room with a fireplace and a view of the mountains! Friendly and professional staff, immaculate rooms and the food both at the buffets and at Brassies Grill was great. We love the lounge area with the large fireplace and hung out there a couple times. The weather was cold but we even got a short hike in! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We have been here many times, it never fails to be one of our favorites! The staff is so friendly and helpful. You can't ask for a more beautiful place to stay!! We have stayed in both the cottage and the hotel, both are wonderful! Will be back.
Great mountain retreat. Super friendly staff, clean and peaceful. We had our Realtor leadership retreat there. Great meeting space and good accomodations. Good food and service. Great room, clean and spacious
This was our first time staying here. We rented a cottage, as we needed three rooms with fireplaces together. Our cottage was up a hill from the parking lot. Two flight of stairs and then a set to get to the bottom floor rooms. It was a cardio workout getting our luggage up and down. The tractor hayride was great. Not a golfer. Dining room was only buffet (during out stay) it was good but pricy. Al a carte food available at other on site food service locations. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The service is great here - from the horse back riding to front desk. PROS - Fireplace in our room, plenty of wood - Horseback riding staff were amazing and went out of their way. - Indoor pool - Game room for kids - The lodge main fireplace room is better than in the pictures where it looks like a frat house - Holiday decorations - Great hiking trails CONS - Housekeeping was completely backed up. Probably a result of short staffing, but the front desk was accommodating if needed more room supplies - The bar in the main room has very slow service. They are very nice, but they take care of the dining room and main lodge - The resort fee states it covers ridiculous things like in-room coffee, free local calls, business center access and things you'd find at a Super 8. Seriously, Brasstown, you can do better. You have a rec room, gym, wood fireplaces in public areas and a pool. That's what a resort fee covers. The fishing pond and tennis courts are great but don't mean much to your winter guests. - No affordable breakfast. I really don't want to take my kids to the fancy dining room for breakfast, but also don't want to go to the local waffle house either. - Please mention to your guests when explaining the trail map if it is hunting season! Some people like to stick to non-hunting areas or dress in bright colors when hiking during season. Nothing like wearing neutral hiking clothes and then seeing a bunch of hunters in the area. Five stars because they really did try their best and it was a great experience…
After reading all about the Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa & looking at all the photographs I knew it was going to be my special place. It was exactly what I needed after experiencing the scare of the hurricane & other worries. Leann at the front desk was wonderful as an ambassador, welcoming us & making sure our stay was perfect ! A young fellow named Justin was also very helpful outside. We sat by the enormous fireplace every night which was a treat coming from Florida. I loved visiting with all the horses & getting all the fun facts about each horse’s personality from JC !! All in all it was a wonderful experience !!!
What a wonderful experience. Spacious room and comfortable bed. We were treated like VIP’s. We have promised ourselves to return . A real Gem hidden in the leaves of North Georgia. Two hours from Atlanta on great roads.
My wife & I just spent several days at Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa. This is our happy place as we have been visiting multiple times a year since 2010. This visit we stayed in the Lodge. Our room had two Queen beds, a coffee maker, mini frig. a microwave, flat screen TV, and a wall safe. Room was very clean & met all our expectations. While there I took advantage of the natural terrain hiking trails that crisscross the property through the woods while my wife sat in one of the rocking chairs on the back deck overlooking the golf course with the beautiful mountains as a backdrop. We enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant and drinks and appetizers at Brassies. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Facilities are well maintained & the landscaping is beautiful. The resort offers something for everyone. Amenities include: *Fitness Center with Locker Rooms (Steam Room & Sauna) *Game Room *18 hole Championship Golf Course with practice green & driving range *Pro Shop & Country Store *Stables *Indoor & Outdoor Pool * Indoor & Outdoor Hot Tub *On Site Restaurant & Sports Bar *Tennis Courts *Sand Volleyball Court/Horseshoes *Equani (Full Service) Spa *Fishing Pond *Cottages Available Definitely family friendly. Facilities for Business Conferences. Also offer full service Wedding Packages. Plenty of parking (Valet parking available). Already planning our next trip. Highly recommend.…
