We spent two nights at this resort and couldn't be more pleased. It had been at least 15 years since our last visit but everything was as good as we remembered. Special shout-out to Teresa in reservations who helped us book a great golf package. Our second day of golf was rained out but they adjusted the price without any problem. Our room was spacious and clean, the golf course was very enjoyable, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. On our second night we had a terrific dinner in the main dining room, we loved everything and our waitress was so charming. We really enjoyed everything about our stay and would highly recommend this resort!

We had a wedding in the family this past weekend at Young Harris. When I searched for a place to stay in, I didn't see this place but a family found it and I liked what I found out and read from reviews from guests. Although, my expectations about the cottage were wrong and different but it's still a nice and satisfying stay. I was expecting upon hearing of a cottage like a house-type accommodations like we have had from what we've booked with Airbnb but no. The cottage/ unit has three rooms with almost surround porches but nevertheless, they're only rooms not a house. Perhaps that's my ignorance between cottage or cabin from a condo. Anyway, I'm not complaining. And even though, because of short time we had, we didn't get to do and see all the things within the resort but one of the short hiking trail. The room we had was nice. You definitely can hear your neighbors, but thankfully ours were not particularly loud the two night we stayed. We'll definitely go back when we can.

The staff were friendly and The accommodations did not reflect the the per night charge. We received no explanation of pool or spa availability. The room was damp. The only way to remove humidity was to make the room colder. Not very comfortable. No room services unless requested.Towels,cleaning.etc. The bathroom door would not remain closed, it was a barn door roller type. This was problematic for obvious reasons. The bathtub surface was extremely slippery. This was a problem in the two rooms our party had. We had to place a wash cloth in the tub to prevent fall or injury to ourselves.

Thank you for taking time to provide feedback regarding your recent visit. I appreciate your positive comments regarding our staff. I apologize for the inconveniences relating to your accommodations and the lack of communication from my team. I had the room issues including the slick tub (in both rooms) addressed when I received your hotel surveys this past week. I will work with my team to improve the consistency of communication given there have been service changes due to COVID safety precautions. At your convenience, I would welcome the opportunity to apologize and further address your concerns. Please feel free to contact me directly. We booked Brasstown on a friend's recommendation, but just had to leave early due to the rooms being filthy and loud guests above us for which hotel management just shrugged off. The problems actually started during booking. We had to call 3 or 4 times to actually get a reservation with the First Responders rate, because front desk staff kept saying so-and-so wasn't there so they would have to call us back. They would never call back, so we had to call again. This repeated at least two times. When we finally got the rate, we arrived to a dank, filthy room in the Cottages. The shower curtain was covered in black mold, the microwave had caked-on food on the rotating plate, there was hair in the shower, the coffee maker was covered in old coffee residue. The air condition unit was so loud that it woke us up every time it went off at night. We called that night to say our room is filthy, and the front desk's response was just "you need to call housekeeping tomorrow." Not, so sorry, we'll fix this right away. Not, we'll make sure housekeeping comes first thing tomorrow. It was just "you deal with it." Needless to say, we didn't sleep much that night. We were willing to overlook all the nasty details of our room and slog it out. However, the next evening we came back to what appeared to be some family reunion or something happening all the surrounding units. People were yelling between balconies to each other, and the room above us was blasting music that reverberated in our room. We called the front desk about the noise, and their response was just "quiet hours are at 10, we'll call them but there's nothing we can do." Not sure if they did actually call, but the music level never lowered. We just had enough of this point and told them we were leaving. We still got charged for our disgusting room for the first night including resort fee, but at least they took off the pet fee. I've heard the lodge is nice(r), but the Cottages should be avoided in our experience. There are plenty of places to stay around this area, so consider looking around elsewhere, especially if you're bringing pets.
