Our family stopped to camp here for two nights on the way to the beach. We had a wonderful stay. The campground is very clean and well manicured. The campsites are good for tents, campers and RVs. There is a lake for kayaking, boating, fishing, skiing and a small swimming area. The swimming area was the only thing that would... More

Very large sites. Reservations are a must as the forty four sites fill up fast. Two bath houses. Also has group cabins and family picnic pavilions. Even with reservations it is first come picks the empty site they desire.

We; 2 adults and 4 kids under 11, stayed in the new cabins; #2, that had just opened on Feb 1st. This was a 2 bedroom; each bedroom had a queen sized bed, 1 bath unit with a pullout couch. full kitchen with everything needed except a wine corkscrew. Even a screened in porch with a picnic table and two... More

Nice mostly shaded sites - mostly level. Nice view of once was a pond - (they reduced the water level for renovations). It was quiet likely because it was mid week. No boat or kayak rentals - low water. The bathrooms are clean, and well maintained. Beware the ants, ant the pine pitch. W/E, no sewer - dump on the... More

We stayed here for two nights and it happened to be on their Fall Festival. We were not camping with children but they had a band, trick or treating and games for the children. It is a beautiful park. I would definitely stay here again. Very clean and well kept!

We didn't get a cabin, we tent camped and had a BLAST! My kids are 3 and 7, they both didn't want to leave. Plenty to do. Two suggestions: 1. I would be to bring some bug spray for ants. There were black ants always by our picnic table and cooler. They didn't bite us, but were searching for food.... More

Campground is close to the swamp park which was nice ( the main reason for our visit). The campground was clean with bath houses very clean and well kept. The management was very freindly and helpful. There were a few noisy campers but a park ranger kept things quiet for the most part. On the negitive side of things the... More
