We are Pete & Beverly Dail and welcome you to The Jewell of Vienna, a 'Southern Bed & Breakfast'. We are located in Central Georgia, right off of I-75 at mile marker 109. Depending on where you call home we would make the perfect mid-way layover for those traveling to or from Florida. Our 1895 Mid-Victorian house features 12' ceilings, 6 fire places, 6 bedrooms with private baths located on both floors, multiple common areas and oak hardwood floors though out. And of course we have a wrap around porch with rockers and a swing. You will be greeted with a refreshing drink to help you start to unwind from a long day on the road. We offer a 'Wine Time' each night if your interested and a full hot country breakfast each morning. Free drinks and snacks located in the dinning room are available 24 hours. The house is totally climate controlled with additional heating and cooling in each room so you can adjust the temperature to what you're used to. All rooms have cable TV and Wi-Fi is onsite as well. We have private parking and can accommodate a travel trailer or motor home. We're only 2 minutes off of I-75 and easy to find. We'd love to help make your stay a great one and would love to meet you. Don't settle and get cooped up in a stuffy hotel room when you can enjoy our beautiful home filled with 100's period antiques that represent days gone by. So give us a call for more info or just come on by and let us pamper you.

We received a warm welcome by the B & B owners, Bev and Pete. The home had been restored to its original splendor and was beautifully decorated with the appropriate antique furniture. We had reserved the lavender room which was very nicely furnished and quite comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was provided. We very much enjoyed our conversation with the owners and look forward to our return!

Southern Hospitality at its best from the moment you step on the large tastefully decorated wrap around porch until your good byes. The Jewell is a wonderful bed and breakfast off the beaten track. The hosts, Beverly and Pete, are all about providing the very best in hospitality. They are an amazing couple who went out of their way to help make our stay so enjoyable. The house is decorated with amazing historical items and books. Our room was tastefully decorated and the private bath was well appointed. Breakfast was served in the dining room and was absolutely delicious. What made this trip even more enjoyable was the time spent just chatting and enjoying the evening with our hosts. The Jewell is aptly named as it is the The Jewell of Vienna. Due to circumstances beyond our control we were not able to continue our trip and had to return home the next morning. Our hosts were so understanding and encouraging. After we left Beverly went as far as to call the SAM Shortline Railroad , that we were to ride, and got us vouchers so we can reschedule in the future. That is is what I call caring for your customers. They truly do care about those that stay with them.

Hope you found everything OK when you returned home after your Tornado in Newnan... So when you reschedule your train ride let us know and if we have availability we'll rebook you at no charge. We hated that you missed your special weekend due to Mother Nature. FYI we will be closed for the summer as we head to our place in TN! We'll re-open the first of October.

We've stayed at many B & B,s in our 45 years of traveling all across the country and this was one of the Best! From the beautiful and authentic decor to the incredible breakfast which I couldn't finish, and to the genuine Southern hospitality of the hosts Bev and Pete.

Thanks so much for choosing us while you visited our area. It was nice meeting someone who could relate to all the work we've put in the Victorian over the years. Hopefully one day we'll turn ours over to one of our kids too! Enjoy the rest of your time in SC and then safe travels back home to NH. Maybe we'll make it back up that way and take in your beautiful state. Pete

I stayed for a night on my way to Florida, and it was wonderful. Pete and Bev, the hosts, made me feel instantly comfortable - in fact, I think Bev was born to do this! If you love antiques and/or history, make sure she shares the multi-generational history of the house and its family. She has done a lot of digging to learn about it, and is happy to share it with guests. My room was very comfortable, they made sure I had everything I needed, and breakfast was FABULOUS. I highly recommend this gem, and look forward to staying again!

I agree, Bev was "Born to do this"... She is the reason our rating is a Perfect 5!!! Now the antiques I can take some credit for as we both love to Antique Shop as much as we can. Please stop by again next time you're headed down to FL. We'd love to continue getting to know you.

Was in town for for a funeral and needed to stay for the night. We certainly picked the right place! What a beautiful house! You immediately feel like you’ve “come home to see Momma”! And if you like antiques, you will just be stunned at what all you see here. Our room, The Rose Room” was very comfortable, and Beverly and Pete made us feel more like family than guests. And breakfast, what can I say! So good!!!! I can certainly see myself coming back for a weekend for de-stressing and re-centering myself. That swing in the porch is calling my name! Thanks, Beverly and Pete for opening your beautiful home!

Well we hated to meet you under those circumstances but never the less once again we gained new friends. Bev is definitely the 'Hostess with the Mostess' and goes out of her way to make you feel right at home. Please do come back and enjoy our porch to your hearts content.
