We are Pete & Beverly Dail and welcome you to The Jewell of Vienna, a 'Southern Bed & Breakfast'. We are located in Central Georgia, right off of I-75 at mile marker 109. Depending on where you call home we would make the perfect mid-way layover for those traveling to or from Florida. Our 1895 Mid-Victorian house features 12' ceilings, 6 fire places, 6 bedrooms with private baths located on both floors, multiple common areas and oak hardwood floors though out. And of course we have a wrap around porch with rockers and a swing. You will be greeted with a refreshing drink to help you start to unwind from a long day on the road. We offer a 'Wine Time' each night if your interested and a full hot country breakfast each morning. Free drinks and snacks located in the dinning room are available 24 hours. The house is totally climate controlled with additional heating and cooling in each room so you can adjust the temperature to what you're used to. All rooms have cable TV and Wi-Fi is onsite as well. We have private parking and can accommodate a travel trailer or motor home. We're only 2 minutes off of I-75 and easy to find. We'd love to help make your stay a great one and would love to meet you. Don't settle and get cooped up in a stuffy hotel room when you can enjoy our beautiful home filled with 100's period antiques that represent days gone by. So give us a call for more info or just come on by and let us pamper you.

An impromptu road trip prompted our stay at the Jewell of Vienna. Calling for a reservation was quick and painless as owner Pete made us feel like he was looking forward to our arrival and even gave verbal directions to make our drive easier.

I usually cringe when asking about pet friendly accommodations because of the extra fees, however, the Jewell is totally pet friendly with no extra cost! To go above and beyond, owner Beverly even had a dog bed, blanket, food dish, and fresh water waiting for our pup.

The house is gorgeous. The 1895 Antebellum style architecture and turn of the century decor make it feel like you are walking into a time warp. Be sure to look at before and after photos, you won’t be disappointed. The garden and the grounds are a great place to take a morning stroll with your dog. Established paths and beautiful flowers make it very enjoyable. Also, the wrap around porch with the rocking chairs and porch swing are the epitome of down home charm.

Our room was wonderful. Nice sized with a VERY comfortable bed made us feel nice and cozy. The antique-style furnishings take you back in time. We had a private bathroom within the room and although it was small (typical for homes of this age) everything was clean, neat, and properly working.

Breakfast was delicious! Mrs. Beverly started breakfast with a dish of yogurt topped with fresh diced strawberries and sliced bananas. Then she served an overflowing plate of homemade delicacies to include but not limited to: banana bread pecan waffles complete with whipped topping and fresh chopped pecans, a heap of baked apples, and more bacon than you need! Just kidding, you always need more bacon.

Beverly and Pete are the definition of southern hospitality. We stayed after breakfast chatting at the table and it felt like we were visiting family. They are very knowledgeable about the history of the home and the neighboring communities.

Book your stay at The Jewell of Vienna Bed and Breakfast.

You’re really cheating yourself if you don’t!

We were returning from PCB, Florida and decided to stop half way. We like to avoid major highways and meander through Georgia on the back roads. We looked online for a B&B and discovered this “Jewell”. Perfect name for it. A hidden jewel. We called last minute and were welcomed by Pete and Beverly. It is a historic home and so interesting. Our hosts were warm and friendly and we hit it off immediately. Our room was comfy, cool and clean. Prices are great but call direct instead of using an online booking and they will give you a discount. Breakfast was banana nut waffles and thick bacon. Wonderful. We sat with the hosts and got so wrapped in conversation we lost track of the time. Wonderful stop and highly recommend.

We arrived at the Jewell of Vienna on Sunday afternoon and was greeted very warmly by Bev and Pete. The B&B is luxurious in old work charm. Each room of the spacious B&B is ornately furnished and immaculate. You can tell that the hosts have taken loving care in their restoration of this historic home.

Bev gives very informative tour of each room with a history of the original owners and the changes through the many years of this building. The rooms are well appointed with WIFI and Direct TV and flat screen TV. The bath tubs are large bear claw that you just want to spend a long time soak in.

The City of Vienna is small and traffic through the neighborhood is minimal. Rooms are surprisingly quiet for an older building.

For us one of the best parts is that this is a pet friendly place and our dog was treated like a people guest. She had free run of the house and had a great stay.

The morning breakfast was homemade, delicious, and filling. The hosts had breakfast with us and we chatted for an hour.

This is one of the best B&B we have visited and it is highly recommended. Vienna is sort of a midway point from Tampa traveling up to and through Georgia, so it is a perfect location.

Thanks to Bev and Pete for their great place and we will see you soon.

Southern Hospitality at its best from the moment you step on the large tastefully decorated wrap around porch until your good byes. The Jewell is a wonderful bed and breakfast off the beaten track. The hosts, Beverly and Pete, are all about providing the very best in hospitality. They are an amazing couple who went out of their way to help make our stay so enjoyable. The house is decorated with amazing historical items and books. Our room was tastefully decorated and the private bath was well appointed. Breakfast was served in the dining room and was absolutely delicious. What made this trip even more enjoyable was the time spent just chatting and enjoying the evening with our hosts. The Jewell is aptly named as it is the The Jewell of Vienna. Due to circumstances beyond our control we were not able to continue our trip and had to return home the next morning. Our hosts were so understanding and encouraging. After we left Beverly went as far as to call the SAM Shortline Railroad , that we were to ride, and got us vouchers so we can reschedule in the future. That is is what I call caring for your customers. They truly do care about those that stay with them.

Hope you found everything OK when you returned home after your Tornado in Newnan... So when you reschedule your train ride let us know and if we have availability we'll rebook you at no charge. We hated that you missed your special weekend due to Mother Nature. FYI we will be closed for the summer as we head to our place in TN! We'll re-open the first of October.

My husband was attending Myron Mixon's Cooking class and I tagged along to take a break from the hustle and bustle of a busy work life with the dog in tow. My only plans while my husband was in class was to relax and reset, and this was something I didn't think I could do in a hotel. The Jewell of Vienna was the perfect spot and Bev and Pete Dial were awesome hosts. I had such an enjoyable weekend. Bev and Pete opened up their home to us and were so thoughtful with the little touches in our room and in other areas of the house. The breakfast was remarkable, very tasty and filling like a 5 star restaurant. Bev and Pete treated us like family. I ended up spending a lot of time talking to Bev and learning about the history of the house and the area. They were also very sweet and loving to our dog. They are truly remarkable people and have a wonderful home where you feel special. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else if I get back to that area.

We received a warm welcome by the B & B owners, Bev and Pete. The home had been restored to its original splendor and was beautifully decorated with the appropriate antique furniture. We had reserved the lavender room which was very nicely furnished and quite comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was provided. We very much enjoyed our conversation with the owners and look forward to our return!

We were booked at the Travelodge in Unadilla as we were in town for the Myron Mixon's Jack's Old South Cooking Class. After 3 hours of driving, we arrived to the Travelodge 4:30 pm to freshen up for our 6 pm meet and greet at the Cooking Class. To our dismay the Travelodge was worse than our already low expectations. We were forced at last minute to look for other accommodations. My husband started calling around and his first call was to the Jewell of Vienna. His exact words were "She was so nice, we have to stay there. Boy, was that a great decision. We were traveling with our 16 yr old daughter as well, so we needed accommodations for 3. Beverly originally put us in the Lavender Room as it has a queen and sofa bed. But once we arrived she so nicely had set up the room across the hall for our daughter, so that my husband and I could have privacy. The rooms and bathrooms are beautifully detailed and rich with character. The house is absolutely beautiful and Beverly will go over the rich history of the house and the items inside. She took the time to talk to us not only of the house but of the area as well. We felt so at home. We stayed for two nights and breakfast was well appointed. Tomato Jelly with biscuits was my daughter's favorite! The fresh country sausage gravy was mine. They made us feel like Family! So much so that on the second night of our cooking class, they let us bring family. We invited Pete and Beverly. It was a beautiful night of conversation over some good southern BBQ. Overall, this was an exceptional stay and I recommend anybody looking for a good southern getaway The Jewell of Vienna is just that. A southern Jewel and, Pete and Beverly are diamonds.

We were traveling through the area and booked here based on other traveler reviews.

So - confirming that the house is beautifully restored, accommodations quite comfortable, and the morning breakfast nutritious and tasty!

Most of all though, we were delighted to get to know Bev and Pete and learn from them a few bits of local history. Made this a special experience!

Was in town for for a funeral and needed to stay for the night. We certainly picked the right place! What a beautiful house! You immediately feel like you’ve “come home to see Momma”! And if you like antiques, you will just be stunned at what all you see here. Our room, The Rose Room” was very comfortable, and Beverly and Pete made us feel more like family than guests. And breakfast, what can I say! So good!!!! I can certainly see myself coming back for a weekend for de-stressing and re-centering myself. That swing in the porch is calling my name! Thanks, Beverly and Pete for opening your beautiful home!

My wife and I stayed at the Inn on 9/25/21 and had a wonderful experience. The innkeepers, Bev and Pete were so friendly and warm and spent a lot of time with us just visiting and showing us around their beautiful home. The room was clean and beautifully decorated as was the entire house and the breakfast was very good as well.

We would definitely recommend anyone traveling through southern Georgia to give the Inn a try and we would absolutely stay there again whenever we are down that way!

Yes but we only have one room that can accommodate 4 people. The Lavender room upstairs is a large Queen Bed room with a small seating area and en-suite bathroom. We allow larger parties to who book that room to also use the room across the hall which has 2 double beds but no bathroom for an additional $20 pp. So 4 persons, 2 rooms that would share a bathroom (there is access to the bathroom from the hall) with 4 full breakfasts. Depending on the day of the week the total rate for 4 would be $149 to $169 plus taxes. We’d love to have you stay with us so give us a call and we’ll get you set up for your stay. 813-695-3245. Pete
