We booked a full board 2d/1n trip with 3 cruises included in the trip. We drove there by car journey about 2 hours. Summary of our trip experience: Activities: 1st cruise to see proboscis monkey -> Great experience. Managed to see few proboscis monkey and the sunset view is stunning. 2nd cruise to see fireflies after dark -> Great experience...

Stayed 3D2N. A better proposition than rushing from KK to Beaufort to look for proboscis monkeys then rushing back to KK after dinner. Booking is full-board with 5 meals (breakfast, lunch, hi-tea, dinner & supper) a day. Comes with 3 cruises a day to look for birds and monkeys (early morning), monkeys (evening) and fireflies (after dinner). Rustic environment with...

We spent the night at the lodge before going white water rafting the next. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and spacious. The food was good and the river cruise during the day and the night cruise was great fun. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We got the package which included the river cruise, a night at the lodge,...

I don't understand why more people don't stay over. We were met at the airport and taken to the lodge. Did the monkey tour first which was fine (saw about 4 or 5 monkeys) then had dinner in a different lodge and went on the firefly tour which was fine also. We were then taken back to the main lodge...

Can only be reached by river, main building houses restaurant and bar. Food is limited in choice but adequate, of good quality and hot. Rooms are in individual cabins set in the grounds which are basic but clean and comfortable. No toiletries or hairdryer available in rooms but bottled water free in rooms.

it wasn't THAT bad, but for RM600 for a double, it was incredibly overpriced, so I would have expected the rooms to be much better. The cabins were basic, but ok, and the bathroom was ok, with a trickling shower and leaking taps, which would be fine if you were paying low end prices, but for this incredible price I...

It provide nice exotic experience with the search of monkeys and fireflies. Staff are very helpful and provide what you need during the stay. One thing to note is that the shared bathroom for the Long house is in slightly poor condition so beware or consider staying other room type. Yet the overall experience was great.

The lodge is the same. Somewhat primative but ok for one night. The problem is with the river experience. It used to be a very quiet and wonderful experience to go out in a boat and see the proboscis monkeys at dusk and dawn. Unfortunately, and this is not the sole responsability of this lodge, a lot of tourists behaved...

This is a laid back lodge in a great location on the Klias Rver. The staff is awesome, as soon as you arrive, they do what ever they can to make you feel comfortable. They make tasty food for dinner and breakfast as well. They have very nice river boats and are flexible about when guests would like to go...
