MCO PERIOD Building : acceptable condition Lobby : quiet Lift : fairly clean Walkway : fairly clean Security : maybe 1 security guard Room : acceptable how ever the whole room is carpeted and likely not properly cleaned for years. Very unhygienic. Bed : soft and comfy with 4 pillows Wifi : poor and barely getting it Bathroom : acceptable, not great Toiletries: just ok Staff : friendly Surroundings : NOTHING to do or EAT Comment : i got there and was told that the next day, there will be a power cut for a few hours. On that day, i had to climb down 10 floors, however, the pathway down the emergency stairs was BLACK/PITCH dark with no lights or what so ever. TRULY unacceptable. i feel before coming to the place, they shud already inform theyre guest about the power cut so that we can change to another hotel not upon arrival at the premises

Just beside a shopping mall. Looks impressive from the lobby. Washroom flooded after shower due to flooring angle. Feeling uneasy as may slip and fall. Room was clean and cosy. Mattress and pillows are comfortable. Should improve further. Breakfast was not ready when i was there. No choice only American breakfast but no orange juice available.

Room was well equipped with all basic needs. Mattress and pillows were plush. Bathroom clean and a refreshing strong hot shower. Breakfast main menu changes daily so that's great if you're staying for a few days. The mall next door has a convenient supermarket and ATM.

the hotel was ok in terms of cleanliness and staff are so polite and warm. however the iron and kettle did not work and had to change. and room service food was limited on the plus side. tawau is a small town. hence the hotel had a backdoor to a shopping complexes. very convienient in terms of travel as everything is nearby including atm.

The hotel is good for business. I would prefer you to get the Junior Suite because of the great views. However the area/road heading to the hotel is a bit dark. Easy to get Grab, no need to worry. Don't forget to visit the spa.

I booked 3 rooms from 29 Nov to 1 Dec. The moment we came out of the lift, we could smell cigarette smoke. The room was acceptable, though need a thorough clean up. There were iron marks all over the carpet and I'm not sure if the carpet has ever been vacuumed. I had 3 ironing boards and 2 irons in the room. No idea why. The toilet bowl was dirty. I doubt whether anyone actually used a toilet brush and ran it round the rim of the bowl. There were mould in the sink and the bathroom door kept on closing. I had to use the dustbin to prop it open. Toiletries were basic. Breakfast was basic too, with rice, noodles, cereal, bread, egg station, etc. The hotel was above the Eastern Plaza mall. Most of the shops are close even though we went at different timings. There were quite a variety of shops - dresses, bags, tudungs, etc. We ate at the same place as there was no other eating place available at the mall. There was a supermarket at the mall, so that was convenient. Overall, it was a decent hotel for a short stay.

Cold and hot drinks are available. Egg corner and you may order own desire of cooking eggs. Very clean and quite harmony place to have breakfast. Hotel room wise was awesome with attentive staffs. Hotel rate was fine.

Stayed in this hotel for one night. Check in was quick and with minimal fuss as I already booked online (in some other 5* hotels, despite booking online they still require you to physically fill up forms). Front counter staff was courteous and friendly. Ate dinner and had breakfast in hotel. Food spread was reasonable and taste wise, acceptable. Stayed in their Junior Suite. Bed was comfortable but carpets had spots in some areas. Overall an acceptable stay. Please note that Tawau is a smaller town, you can’t compare this hotel to the likes of international 5* hotels.
