We stayed here for three nights. It is very peaceful and quiet inside the Crocker Range national park. The staff were very friendly, we had breakfast and dinner each day at the restaurant and the food was excellent. There are lots of trails in different forests. It was quite cool so the chalet didn't have air conditioning but you didn't need it. There are also an insectarium and fernarium close by in the national park although these are a little run down. We paid 40 Ringgits to get there by taxi from Keningau which was probably a bit too much, Grab wasn't available there but we were lucky to be given a lift back at the end of our stay by a member of staff who was heading there anyway. I would definitely recommend staying here to relax and enjoy the peaceful national park.
Would definitely recommend this place. we had an en suite chalet and it was spacious and quiet. the bathroom was basic but we didnt expect anything too fancy being in the national park. the water took a little while to warm up but came through hot eventually. The bed was a little low and a bit old but comfortable enough. The surroundings are very peaceful and we felt so refreshed during our stay here, we had three nights and left feeling so relaxed. the staff are so friendly and helpful, we were given lots of bottled water, tasty vegetarian food with generous portions and even assistance with transport out of the park . it took a while to book the accommodation but I would definitely recommend this place. our stay was fantastic.
Loved the view and I really enjoyed my stay there. Wish though I had more time. Loved the nature. So much space to roam around in and out of the accommodation. The facilities weren’t that great and there is surely a room for improvement.
We stayed here in a family room for 2 nights with our 3 kids. Great place for walking in the Crocker park as the resort is actually inside the park and the location is beautiful. Good place to get away from it all in the cool. Staff at the restaurant were friendly. The menu is small and the food is average, but cooked fresh and adequate. The room is basic, but quite good if you are working more from a camping standard than a hotel. Our room was clean and had a functional bathroom attached (with hot water). The water went off occasionally for short periods of time, but there was some water stored there for such times.
There is certainly plenty of space in and around this resort as it is located in the Crocker Range National Park around 1000-1200m above sea level. The grounds occupy the top of a ridge and the surrounding slopes so be prepared to encounter some steep slopes as you walk around. Sunset views are to die for, We stayed at a weekend and were the only people booked in. A few visitors dropped in for a drink in the 'restaurant' which had splendid views out across to Keningau. It was also a great spot on the Sunday morning to hear the motorbikes as they roared up and down the hills. As others have said, the 'restaurant' is a sad affair and we skipped the last breakfast. The room itself was clean and spacious with lovely wooden furniture. Views from the room were impressive. No complaints at all on that front. Would we go again - probably not. Are we glad we went - most certainly.…
