If you happens to be in Keningau in the month of Ramadan. Consider Visiting Perkasa Hotel Keningau for the Iftar or Buka Puasa. Food range from Traditional Malaysian Dish to Grilled Lamb and Satey and a wide range of Deserts. Malaysian Cakes, Gado-Gado, Ice Cream Deserts, to the Freshly Fried Kway Teow (Fried Noodle). Different kinds of Cold Drinks to Coffee & Tea. Before going pre-book your seats as it is sold out every day. If you ask me, I say having your Iftar or Buka Puasa here is one of the best place to Be.

BAD MANNER AND SOME STAFF ARE NOT WELL TRAINED IN THEY CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILL. WHY? When we check in, we was greeted nicely and all was fine, we took the RM120 family room with king size bed and a single bed. During my reservation through the phone, i asked if there's breakfast included and they politely say no. But then my brother in law also took a room as same as mine, with add on breakfast of RM10. So i was interested when my brother in law inform me that there add on that we can add for the breakfast. Since i prefer conveniences to enjoy breakfast in the hotel, i took my time to ask the receptionists at the counter. I didn't get their names thou, but the first staff that was on duty in the evening was polite but then she seem not knowledgeable for my inquires, so she excuse herself to call her colleague. Here where my beautiful evening ruined by RUDE STAFF of yours. Firstly she didn't even bother asking my name and my room number. I was really polite asking her about the breakfast menu of RM10 which i am interested to add on. Is it wrong when your customer asked what kind of breakfast we gonna have ? She then rudely pointed the menu at the counter. I ask her nicely again was this menu for whole RM10 or any other such as buffet or unlimited. Surprisingly her response to me is "MANA BOLEH SEMUA INI RM10" as she pointed the menu with sarcastic tone. I was upset the way she answered and explained it to me, if only she was humble and explained it to me in a good manners i wouldn't be this upset. I was then furious not because the RM10 but because of her (the receptionist) etiquettes. In past, I worked in a hotel line (hotelier) before and this is not the way we were trained. Obviously this hotel need to train their staffs. Learn to have empathy and love your job. One bad rotten apple will eventually ruins all the good apples. The room only have shampoo and soap as complimentary so do bring your own tooth brush and tooth paste. I do like the family room it is spacious and big and smell nice. But please do improve your customer service. Some are snobbish. Thank you for your attention.

Recently stayed at this hotel as part of a tour, on arrival we were made welcome then shown to our room. It was adequate for the stay but beds not that comfortable, wifi was hit and miss and by moving a foot the signal was lost. Problems came with the food ( or lack of decent food),we are put into a little side room down some steps because the hotel was hosting religious meals. The first night the food was barely warming not a good variety, breakfast the next morning was cold because they had not lit warming lights under the trays. But the meal that night was atrocious, it was barely warm for the same reasons as breakfast , the "beef" curry consisted of gelatinous fat in a sauce. Our guides complained but no other food sorted. We were allowed though to go out into the main body of the hotel to have some of the food that had been prepared for the locals meal. Unfortunately all meats etc had gone so brad and butter pudding washed down with luke warm coffee had to suffice. They hadn't learnt from these mistakes and yes breakfast was cold AGAIN!!

Stayed here for two nights whilst on a Rainforest Adventure. Lovely Hotel friendly staff and very comfortable rooms. Food was served buffet style but you did not go without there was so much. Lovely location overlooking a sports stadium, it was great fun we were on h9oliday and every morning plenty of people running around the running track.

We stayed here for one night whilst travelling Borneo. We rented a deluxe king room. Although this hotel looks great when you arrive I was disappointed overall. The room was clean and ok, the restaurant food was average and unfortunately for us there was two private parties going on in both function rooms, the music was defening, also there was a large coach party booking in , sadly it was all a bit chaotic , consequently the service failed on all levels. The wifi was useless in the rooms but ok in reception. Not in any hurry to return.

me and family visited keningau for a paramotor flying event organized by family's friend. we stay for a night. we stay in the family room. the room is good with basic facility. we just extremely dissapointed with the room service food. we ordered beef rendang and ayam curry which served with rice, carrot juice and epal juice. the beef rendang was obviously old rendang which been heated multiple time. the curry ayam was totally rubbish too and tatse like old food. the price was ridiculous (rm 25 for both meal) . the juice were over price too with awfull taste and presentation (rm12.5)i doubt the manager knew about this thing. we regret to stay and order room service and definitely move out from this hotel after first night although we initially plan to stay for 2 night. definitely not to try the breakfirst (rm 12 ala carte per head)

Nice and clean room with basic facilities. Got a great deal for RM 100 nett for a twin sharing room with a great view of the town... no breakfast tho. The beds probably need to be changed as they were a bit sunken when I slept on it. Friendly reception. Wi-Fi provided. One set back, we were attending a seminar at the 7 th floor, the air condition was at maximum and the participants were cold. Few calls by the organizers to the reception but the maintenance personnel never turned up till the end of the seminar. If the hotel wants to alleviate its service to an international level, then it has to look at such issues. Overall good stay.

The rom wasn't too bad, clean and good size! The view wasn't very good as it overlooked the back of the hotel! The food was awful! The area where the restaurant was situated was very open plan! The staff where friendly and helpful. Good position for what we wanted! One of the waiters was excellent , after I had left my handbag on the back of my chair , he later bought it up to my room! A very honest man!

I booked this hotel for a business trip. Upon checking in my colleague and I discovered we were the only guests that night, the place was deserted apart from a staff member on the desk. The hotel is a little out of town and I wished I'd booked something more central and lively (not that there's a lot of choice in Keningau!). The room was OK, although I was given a controller for the A/C that didn't work. Breakfast was a choice from a menu of 5 items, 4 Asian dishes or toast! I presume when they are busier they offer the usual buffet, but not when we we there! I would not stay there again.
