Absolutely my favorite Bed and Breakfast in Tybee Island. My husband and I have stayed in Tybee for many years and tried many B&B’s here. The owners are amazing. It’s exceptionally clean, cozy, quiet and romantic. The historical home sits in a very peaceful area close to the ocean. The wrap around porch is amazing for morning coffee and late night drinks. The breakfast is delicious and the beds are to die for. We stay in B&B’s all over the United Stayed and this I can honestly say is my favorite. We can’t wait to come back very soon. Thank you for having us, Lonnie and Shirlee
I stayed here for 4 nights. The ability to get up and be just a few steps from the beach was very convenient and relaxing. It was within walking distance of the best place to eat on the island (Sundae Cafe). They had convenient parking, very clean, tidy, and comfy. The mattress was very comfortable. The innkeepers provide free snacks and drinks. There were treats every day!
My wife and I needed to escape from reality for a bit and Megan and Jeremy provided everything we needed to do that and more. They are a really sweet family and we felt like fast friends before we left. The room was charming and had everything we could've wanted. Breakfast was delicious! Refreshments were plenty. The walk to the beach was so easy - 5 minutes max from door to butt in sand. They had great recommendations for food and attractions. Really couldn't have been more accommodating. We can't wait to go back!
My husband and I stayed two nights recently in this beautiful, historic B & B. This was the 2nd visit for me, and is on my list of places to stay when in the area. The room was large and comfortable with a newly renovated bath. The food was delicious from the snacks to the homemade breakfast each day. Megan is a wonderful chef, some of the best food I have had at B & B's. This B & B is small, only 5 rooms, but big on hospitality. I would highly recommend Surf Song to any one traveling to Tybee Island.
My wife (then fiancée) and I were able to sneak in a trip to Tybee Island before everything went crazy in March. We had stayed at a cottage with family, but were looking to have a place of our own for our last night. After visiting the lighthouse we were driving through the nearby neighborhood and stumbled upon this beautiful, gorgeous, older home. (Quite the hidden gem!) Megan was such a lovely, hospitable host! (I apologize again for interrupting you during a meeting!) Megan generously offered us a stay in the enchanting Sand Dollar Room. Her consistent fresh treats of baked goods made us not one to leave the house. Breakfast the next morning was an incredible culinary delight. Upon returning home we received a handwritten postcard from her family a few weeks later. This place was truly amazing and the hospitality was outstanding. I highly recommend and looking forward to seeing this lovely home again. Thank you so much Gonyou Family!…
