I was not thrilled with this room. First of all the staff was not all that nice and secondly the elevators smelled like someone had covered themselves in Bengay and rolled around in the carpet. Seriously the smell was almost unbearable in the elevators. The room was nice enough. The only thing I really did like was that the bed...

Thank you for staying with us and sharing your experience on TripAdvisor. I'm sorry we fell short of your expectations. My team and I strive to make sure every guest has a great visit and that they want to return. I'm glad that you liked our new bedding. It was one of several dozen items that we improved this past...

We've been coming here for many years! The new improvements are really nice! Beds are very comfortable. I know they are working on getting a restaurant in there, that's a big bonus when it opens! The convenience to everything is great. Once we arrive and park, we don't get back in the car until it's time to head home! You...

We were just in Tybee on June 21-27, 2015. Had planned this vaction for a while. Not many options for hotels "on the beach" so when we booked our stay with Hotel Tybee we were told that we would have an ocean view. When we arrived, (granted we did arrive early at 2pm) we were told that we could check...

Thank you for visiting Tybee Island, staying with us and sharing your experience on TripAdvisor. I cannot begin to express how sorry we are for your experience. There is no denying that the first few days of your visit were the hardest we've had at the hotel. It is far from the norm and is not representative of our service,...

After reading reviews, I was very nervous about booking this hotel. I am so glad I did! Our room was 4th floor Oceanview and it was wonderful! The beds were so soft and the room was very clean. The view was fantastic! We would lay in bed and watch the sunrise! The only thing that needed update was the mirror...

The redo is great and was much needed. We stayed here 09/2014 and it would have gotten only a 2 back as everything was dated. They have done a great job of remodeling so far with the rooms. From what they say they are doing more which will only enhance the hotel more. I would definitely rank them as one...

I can't thank you enough for coming back and then taking time to share your experience on TripAdvisor. We have come so far since last September that it truly amazes me. I love hearing from our past guests. Across the board they have nothing, but praise and excitement to share. I think past guests seem to know what we were...

Nice hotel on the beach. I only wish you could see the ocean from all rooms but otherwise I am pleased with the hotel. All rooms do have balconies. Comfortable bedding. Everything you need is within walking distance.

Thank your for staying with us and sharing your experience on TripAdvisor. Since purchasing the hotel last year on July 31st, we have been working around clock making significant improvements. It would have been nice to complete all the work in the off-season, but the scope of work made it virtually impossible. We are so thankful for all our guests...

This hotel is being remodeled and we stayed on June 18, 2015 we were in room 326. The room was nice except for the mold stains on the ceiling other than that the room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the ocean with a nice balcony. It was within walking distance of the beach. Like the fact that...

After reading reviews about remodeling issues, staff issues, etc--I nervously booked a family getaway at Hotel Tybee. I was so pleasantly surprised! We had no issues our entire stay. All the staff we encountered were wonderful. Our request for a top floor room (so our kids could sleep away from parking lot/party noise) was honored without batting an eye. We...

Our room was large and we had a great view of the ocean (which we paid extra for) because we were on the 4th floor (thankfully there was an elevator). We only had to walk across the parking lot to get to the beach which was a big plus. We were also within walking distance of most of the shops....

Thank you for staying with us and sharing your experience on TripAdvisor. I'm glad you enjoyed your room, the ocean view and our proximity to the beach.
