My wife and I booked a room at the 17th street CONDO for New Years Eve, thinking it would be romantic to sit on the balcony and watch the fireworks. The decor was circa 1980, the room itself had a horrible rotten egg smell and to top it off, the swing on the balcony was rusted and sitting on the...

I requested to book through Airbnb for July 3-4. I have traveled with Airbnb many times before. My request for this room was declined without reason...which I feel is very unprofessional. Management should find more skilled employees.

Quaint? Maybe at one time. Old? Yes. For $185 a night the sheets and towels had bleach stains, the AC is musty and old. Needs a major facelift. This is lipstick on a pig. Outside is quaint and beach is walking distance - if you like super-crowded party beach atmosphere. Rates should be $85 a night. If you are looking...

This is a cute, quaint inn with all the amenities you might need for a low-key beach vacation. There is a porch available in the back with a grill and swings that can be used by all rooms. Some rooms like ours, Unit 5, has a special semi-private porch area too. Beach access is quite close, and the inn is in...

We spent two nights in this cozy and comfortable hotel. The rooms have an old charm about them and something you don't find in a chain hotel; character. The minimal staff interaction was pleasant and being a hop, skip and jump from the beach is a HUGE plus. If someone I knew was going to Tybee Island to vacation, the...

Perfect destination for a honeymoon or vacation. My daughter & her husband were absolutely thrilled to spend their honeymoon here. There's no other place like Tybee Island-totally unique. And no better place to stay than the 17th Street Inn. If you want crowded beaches, casinos, & impersonal, plastic-looking motels, go somewhere else. If you want a unique setting, personalized service, and quality...

Stayed at the Inn during Mardi Gras weekend. Had a blast. Location was perfect for access to the beach, popular nightspots and eateries. The room was clean. Was a great deal for the price. We even bought Steaks and sides, and had access to an area to grill, plus all supplies that were needed to prepare. Our room had no...

My husband and stayed at the end for valentines day weekend and really enjoyed it. Great location to the beach and shops. Only problem we found was the people staying next door came in from the bar and slammed the door at 330 am. But no other problems. We have recommended the inn to several of our friends. Looking forward...
