My wife and I had our 20th anniversary here, which happened to fall on Memorial Day Weekend. The staff was pleasant and accomodating. Breakfasts were tasty. We could walk to the beach easily. Lots of cats...not just here, but all over Tybee. Make sure you lock the door when entering and exiting! ;-)

Great location in a guilt residential neighborhood just a short walk to the beach. Historic home with most of the period details intact, cozy room, wonderfully diverse art, and the best night's sleep ever! Thank you Susie, it was a pleasure to meet you!

The Lighthouse Inn is in a good location on the north end of the island, an easy walk to North Beach and the lighthouse and far away from the bustle around the pier, which we definitely wanted to avoid. The room was small but pleasant enough. But I have to agree with other reviewers that hospitality and amenities were lacking.... More

We decided to take a trip last minute and was able to book a room at The Lighthouse Inn. After a 9 hour drive we were glad to finally arrive. Walking onto the grounds we noticed right away there was minimal upkeep outdoors. The area where you park had trash cans and old flower pots and was quite shaggy looking.... More

Gf and I really enjoyed this quaint and quiet b+b, only a few inutes walk from the beach. The rooms are a tad small, but work just fine for a couple. Beds are made daily and the owners will take care of small requests without question. Highly recommend.

Thr resident was not kept up, porch was not the cleanest, old cigarets in ashtry, cushions on porch dirty and mildewed, we would not sit on them and the grounds needed some attention. Lots of cats everyone. I had my car cleaned and then had to spend extra time clening it to get rid of the paw primts off my... More

We regret that your expectations while lodging at the Lighthouse Inn were not met. When a guest is disappointed we too are disappointed. My husband booked this Bed and Breakfast for our baby moon. We drove from St. Augustine, Fl only to arrive this evening stopped by the owner. Despite having a confirmation, she rebooked the room we were to stay in. There was communication back and forth with the owner and my husband saying she tried calling, emailing, etc. One email was... Place is rather sweet but all 3 bedrooms in the house are so small. Not alot to do in Tybee so really, the 2nt minimum is a bit much. The house is located near the lighthouse but still a walk from the beach and the residential neighborhood is rather iffy with some boarded up properties and lots of feral cats... More

The Lighthouse Inn was our stop for the last few nights of a fabulous holiday in Georgia and South Carolina. We had wanted a calm, quiet and relaxing location before heading home and the Lighthouse delivered exactly that. Its landlady, Susie was the model of Southern hospitality; we were made very welcome indeed. The only shame was that we couldn't... More

My wife and I were looking for a quiet, romantic getaway. The Lighthouse Inn definitely filled the bill! We were greeted by Susie, the owner, who showed us around the B&B and told us about all of the amenities. We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Each morning we were provided with a wonderful gourmet breakfast prepared by... More
