What an awesome place! The room was very comfortable and the food was outstanding! Dan and Tanya are such nice people! They made our visit very enjoyable. Can’t wait to go back again. It is worth the stay.
Perfect for a get-away. This beautiful old home is full of stained glass, gorgeous old wood work, wonderful smells and period decor. I highly recommend it for a couple days of escapism. The hosts have thought of all the little touches that make a stay personable and luxurious - scents candle, candy in the room, bathroom amenities, cookies in the foyer. The hosts are lovely, and the breakfast was divine. There are cute antique shops and cafes close by, and a train that blows it's whistle in the distance.
We stayed at the Simmons-Bond Inn Bed and Breakfast for our Fall getaway weekend and was not disappointed! We have stayed at several B & B’s during our marriage of 31 years and this one is by far the best one! Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful, we felt very safe in their home. Our room, Maria, was comfortable and inviting. Our three course breakfast each day was so delicious and satisfying. Snacks and drinks were available, also coffee and tea. A nice touch. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely be staying again!
If I could give the Simmons-Bond Inn 10 stars, I absolutely would. Daniel and Tanya made our recent stay everything we could have hoped for. My husband and I were married at Toccoa Falls College on October 18th. The inn is only 5 minutes from the college, so my bridal party, their spouses and one adorable 4-year-old ring bearer filled the inn for wedding weekend. Tanya and Daniel worked with me for several months to ensure all our needs were met. They truly went above and beyond, ensuring that we had everything from an extra table for the make/up artist to place her tools, to an extra over-the-door hook to hang my wedding gown. They greeted each guest upon arrival and were careful to meet the dietary needs of certain bridesmaids for breakfast each morning. Oh, the breakfast! That is worth a stay just to eat that phenomenal spread. Plus, for the 4-year-old, he got to pick out his own special cereal and have "smiley-face" pancakes. Needless to say, he was in heaven. The Simmons-Bond will hold a special place in my heart for years to come, thanks in large part to Tanya and Daniel's exceptional hospitality and beautiful accommodations. A true gem in the heart of Northeast Georgia!…
This was my first visit to this B&B and I had a wonderful experience. Dan and Tanya were the tops as far as a host and hostess. My room was very welcoming, it was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The breakfasts had beautifully set tables and each course not only looked delicious, it was delicious. I hope to be able to go back and stay another time, I rested and relaxed all weekend. Go ahead if you’re thinking about trying the Simmons-Bond Inn. You won’t be disappointed!!
