My sister and I have never stayed at a B&B, but we couldn't say no to this location. You can easily walk to all of the great shops, restaurants, and historic homes.
It was so clean, beautiful, and yet I felt very much at home.
Breakfast was amazing. Joy cooks it just for you every morning. It was so delicious, one of the best parts of my trip to Thomasville.

Went for a weekend get-away, and wasn't disappointed. Beautiful room with attentive hosts. Full breakfast provided in the morning (well prepared). I appreciated their maintaining mask guidelines, and staggered breakfast times for their guests. We'll stay here the next time we visit Thomasville.

The host was very friendly but overwhelmed us with a history lesson we didn't ask for for and couldn't escape from. Breakfast was fruit, yogurt and a warm apple french toast but would have been better without the constant history lesson. Perfect location to walk to town. Not sure if I would stay there again but I might.

We had booked "angels among us" room and it was so lovely. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. We were not too keen on the breakfast but that's just probably our English taste and I do prefer to have a more peaceful breakfast. Bob is very nice but I really don't want that much conversation at 8am. It is a beautiful house with lovely sitting areas and a great porch. The facilities are good so you can make coffee etc at any time.

Spent Friday night at this B&B and really enjoyed it. "Touch of Gold" was a great experience for my wife and I. The breakfast was excellent and so was the hospitality, as they were very accomodating. Highly recommend this B&B.

My husband and I stayed at Freedom Oaks two nights. Bob and Peggy are the perfect hosts - every need was met, recommendations for things to do and restaurants were provided and even phone calls made for us, breakfast was out of this world - yet we had absolute privacy when we wanted it. The Inn is lovely - beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, comfortable and ideally located. Freedom Oaks was one of out very best B&B experiences.

My husband is a Florida State grad and huge fan, so we make frequent trips to Tallahassee for football games and have found that Thomasville is the most convenient place to stay. We decided to stay at a B&B instead of a hotel this trip and chose Freedom Oaks because the photos on the website were very appealing, and they offer a 10% discount to active duty and retired military. Are we ever glad we did! Everything about our stay was perfect. We were late in arriving, but Bob & Peggy were not at all put out, greeted us warmly, and made us feel right at home - despite the fact that my husband is a Seminole, and they're Gators! :)
The house has been beautifully restored and decorated yet is very comfortable and immaculate. I liked the fact that there were several common areas, so we didn't feel confined to our room like we often do in hotels. The breakfasts were delicious and the table elegant.
We will definitely be back on our next trip to Tallahassee!

We spent two nights here on a recent visit to Thomasville. Great location since you can easily walk to the center of town. The host was more than willing to direct us around town and to recommend place to see, eat and do. Additionally, he provided us glasses for our wine that we had brought along while we were lazing on their great front porch in the afternoon. They do have off street parking available, however not on Crawford their address street. Excellent breakfast in the morning to get the day started. They don’t accept reservations for Monday – Wednesday (that’s their weekend). Would return in a heartbeat for another visit.

Room Tip: Angles among us was very nice and on the back side, very little street noise.
