Balinese People are lovely so the staff get a big tick. Silence, the sound of the sea and not the petrol driven roar of the towns and cities is what you get and for this they get a tick. The food is what you get in Bali but overpriced. Mind you there is nowhere else to eat. If you do yoga, then you won't mind sleeping on a plank. My old bones complained. The odd Ant will visit you in the night and a thousand visit the toilet. Don't sit down without Shooing them away. The facilities are overpriced and somewhat primitive but that is not a reason for not staying.

Based on pictures and quotes you can find on Internet, this place sounds magic and pleasure. That's right! Neither only regarding the wonderful environment, nor the stick on the map ; but well also for the kindness of people living/working there : after spending 2 nights there, we were quite part of the family. Food/beverages were fantastic, Spa & resort (Balinese massages :-o) were OMGing and prices are so low. I'm already working hard to come back as soon as possible. Do not change anything, you're on the top !

My wife and I stayed just for one night Ibn this beautiful resort, but our daughter was there before for a weeks course and will do so again. We just wanted to meet Malte, the German owner of the place, but were invited to stay. We didn't expect anything but were very happy to stay there. Malte showed us the whole place, explained about the different stiles of the houses, showed us the experiments they are doing on the biological consequences of the warming of the sea water due to the climate change, and many other things. We had the opportunity to taste very good food, special drinks, to swimm the agreeable swimming pool and to sleep in one of the beautiful houses. As usual in Bali not everything is perfect, but there is the friendly staff who do their best to fulfill the wishes of the customers. It is difficult to judge from a stay of only 24 hours, but I am sure we would like to come back and stay for a longer time here. Not a cheap place, but certainly worth it's money. One of the rare places where you can enjoy quiet and comfort in beautiful surroundings.

We were a group of 25 and rented the whole place is sprawling and incredible. Jungle vibes by the seaside, indoor outdoor vibes. The staff is so wonderful and I cannot day enough about how accommodating they are! I have worked with many centers in the past and never had this kind of communication and service from the staff, we fell in love with them. It is safe to leave doors unlocked and anyone who complains about this could use a retreat and some chill out time. The rooms are beautiful, the outdoor showers are dreamy, the food is authentic and the little touches of love everywhere enhance the already amazing estetic. I highly recommend it here if you want to rejuvenate and have an opportunity to connect to the culture, the staff will help you out. 🙌🏽✨🙌🏽✨🙌🏽✨🙌🏽 Also the Bella is the bird on site and enhances the experience. ❤️

We stayed here for 6 days and 5 nights for our Yoga and meditation Retreat with a big group of lovely souls. I had 3 Bali Massages and I felt wonderful afterwards. From here you can visit the oldest temple in Bali, also the waterfalls are amazing. The staff here are beautiful, kind and generous nothing was ever too much trouble. The pools were all clean (there`s 3) and nice to have a dip with a fresh juice. I would stay here again for sure..

Two couples, two rooms. Our friends room had a key, we did not, our room not secure and we were unable to shut our door properly. No tea and coffee making facilities. That to us was a big thing. Having no TV was great, as was no wifi in your room. Outdoor bathroom - we are over it, attracts mozzies. No hot water at hand basin but was supplied to shower - poor pressure. Quality of towels and toiletries abysmal. We ate dinner at the Boreh restaurant last night (nowhere else to go, nothing nearby). Lovely staff, but gado gado had no tofu, lots of well cooked vegetables, but the two of us were unable to find the tofu. Breakfast this morning - pleasant, friendly smiling attendants, but no glasses of water supplied and very limited menu which was based around eggs. It took over 30 minutes for anything at all to arrive at our table (we were the only people there at that stage). Housekeeping was spotless, and well tended pools and garden. I can appreciate that this property would have great appeal to some people. For us, love the isolation, love the view, but tea and coffee in the room a requirement, as is good, prompt food, no near dead towels and good quality toiletries. However, lovely staff.

What a surprise so many buildings and so many different types, Not your average resort and a bit out of the way but perfect for a yoga retreat. Can believe how relaxed i feel after a stay her. The communal spaces were great for yoga and mediation. i enjoyed the food. The beach sand was black! So different for the Gold Coast which I visit regularly. We went on a few tours and the staff were excellent. Enjoyed a few massages and scrubs. Please boss can i extend my leave!!!

Few visitors venture to the north coast of Bali, yet this spot will reward you with experiences you will not soon forget. Comfortable accommodation in lush gardens, good food, and a most pleasant staff create an atmosphere perfect for relaxation. We enjoyed outstanding massages and lounging by the pools, but also visited several local cultural sites. You can even arrange to hike to the top of a volcano to view the sunrise over a lake. One massage in a cabana by the ocean with a gentle sea breeze was very memorable. A great spot for getting away for true relaxation; also for a yoga retreat.

This hotel is beyond excellent and 100% I would return. This hotel is a little gem and is perfect for relaxing and unwinding. They are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, my husband had an upset stomach (not due to food or anything here) and they provided us with local medicine and expected nothing in return. Well the medicine worked and I have never ever experienced customer service like this they go above and beyond. I can not thank them enough for their gold star service and other hotels should really take notes from here. The spa Amazing, out of this world. Best massage i have ever had, value for money and just brilliant. This is a must for anyone. The food Gorgeous, even when you ask for only a little spice thats what you get so dont be afraid to try the local dishes as they are delicious. Breakfast is lovely from the home made bread to the fresh food to the naughty breakfast all is delicious. The pools There are 2 main pools both are decent size well looked after, cleaned everyday and well maintained. Perfect to have a dip in after hard time sun bathing. The beach This is a stone beach so would strongly suggest beach shoes to walk on or go for a swim as there are some nasty creatures and you are going into their home. But it is gorgeous to hear the sea all the time and to have that sea breeze when sun bathing. The rooms Well considering we arrived at midnight had a sandwich prepared for us which was delicious and we did not have to go through the full check in procedure at that time of night was a perfect start. We had a surprise upgrade to deluxe room which was gorgeous just a shame you could hear everything your next door neighbour was doing and having the toilet outside is a lovely idea just dont like hearing what my neighbour is doing. Our air conditioning was not working so we were offered the beach house well this is gorgeous its like your own little house on the beach front with the cool air from the sea coming in. Perfect i would highly recommend renting this. All in all if you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy good food with the most friendly people i have met working hard in a hotel then book this place. We have spent 2 weeks here and i have never felt so relaxed and happy. Perfect just perfect. Thank you to all the staff, I have felt so lucky to of met you, keep up the hard work it is appreciated and thank you for looking after us.

Booked this hotel as it looked away from it all and the reasonable price compared to hotels down the south. We got here late (midnight) and was shown to a deluxe room an upgrade from what we had paid for. Handed a sandwich incase we were hungry and said we can check in properly in the morning. Room was nice though the aircon wasn't working and walls are very thin you can hear everything from next door and the one along. Staff sorted the aircon though it wasnt very cold. Informed them the next day and they moved us free of charge out to a beach villa, this was an open air villa so had a lovely breeze. The breakfast is lovely and is freshly prepared for you. The lunch and dinner menu is well priced and delicious. There are numerous health jucies to choose from as well. Outside the resort there is an indo mart 200metres away for water, toiletries etc. We have used the spa twice the massages are well priced and the best i have ever had. What really makes this hotel is the staff. They are always happy to help and work well as a team making sure the grounds are kept clean not just sticking to their job role. I wouldnt hesitate to come back here it was well worth the 3hrs from the airport!
