Offering state of the art docking, boat rentals and free use of all non motorized water equipment, we promise this will be a vacation to remember. The fishing in our area is amazing to say the least so give us a whirl! You won't be disappointed. Plus we have a sandy beach and we are pet friendly! We have 6 cottages open in the summer and two in the winter. During the winter months there are hot tubs on each cottages deck to enjoy as well as a skating rink (depends on weather).

Where to begin....my family had a great vacation at Wildwood Cottage Resorts. The location was peaceful and beautiful! We stayed in Cabin 1 which is practically brand new with a huge wrap around deck which our 4 month old puppy enjoyed very much. It has 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Its the cleanest cabin which was nice as I suffer from allergies and I didn't have one reaction while staying there. The kitchen is equipped with everything you needed and the furniture was very clean and comfy! The resort had several activities free to use (paddel boards, kayak, trampoline on land and in water etc..) Fishing of the dock was great, so if you don't want to go out on a boat the fishes practically are waiting for you! If you want to watch a movie, the cabin has a pretty decent size flat screen and at the store there's a bunch of DVD's to borrow. The owners Jamie and Rebecca are the nicest and most accommodating people. Jamie is constantly running around making sure everything is cleaned and ready to go. They treat their guests like family and that hospitality is rare to come by. Thank you so much Jamie and Rebeeca we had a great vacation at your resort and will definteky be back for sure. Second New Years in a row at Wildwood cottages and we absolutely loved it! The accommodation is very comfortable and the setting is private and tranquil for those that need to escape the city to relax. The owners are very attentive and they even brought us a bottle of complimentary wine on New Year’s Eve. A very nice touch. We will return again for sure !!

We had the best time ringing in the new year at Wildwood Cottages with our little fam and would recommend it to anyone! From the beautiful view to the cozy and very clean cottage (even a lit up Christmas tree inside, I really loved that 🎄😊) Hosts were very friendly, surprised us with fireworks on NYE, even provided us with some roadside assistance when roadside didn't. 🛻🙃❄️ We felt really taken care of here, hosts really thought of everything. We are booked again for the summer and can't wait come back. Thank you for your kind hospitality ❤️

Another great week at Wildwood. Clean, quiet and beautiful. Jamie and Rebecca were great hosts, super helpful and accommodating. Jamie came out every morning to check the beach was clean and free of algae so everyone could enjoy the water. Great place, definitely be back next summer.

We had a great three night stay at Wildwood with our family of five and our dog. When we arrived we went into our three bedroom cottage and were pleasantly surprised at how clean it was! The layout was perfect with the main bedroom upstairs and the twins and double rooms below. We went into this trip with zero expectations and we’re just hoping for a nice stay and an escape from the city. Well we got that and so much more! The beach was lovely and clean, the water toys were thoroughly enjoyed, and the non motorized watercraft’s were plentiful and always available to use. The added bonus of always having life jackets to use made swimming and kayaking a breeze. We loved that this was a pet friendly resort too! Our best suggestion for your trip - make a quick stop at Doo Doos on your way in to pick up some baked goods, and then stop again on your way home for some more butter tarts! We plan on booking again next summer - and hoping to make this a new family tradition!

Thinking about a nice get-away? Look no further. Jamie & Rebecca offer the quaintest cottages right on the Otonobee! Cozy, fully furnished and efficiently equipped. Nice personal touches include their offering to provide anything that might be missing, boat rentals, wood for the indoor fireplace or just simply their taking a few minutes to have a chat with you. We especially loved the firepit (each cottage has their own) to enjoy evenings in peaceful surroundings. Lots of wildlife entertained us during our stay ... to name a few ... mergansers, osprey, woodpeckers, snapping turtles, loons, beavers and a fox! Wildwood Cottages is definitely a place worth repeating.

One of our favourite places to spend time together as a family! This was our third year visiting Wildwood and as always, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottages are perfectly situated with views of the calm Otonabee River and all equipped with the essentials of home. Rebecca and Jamie are always tending to the grounds and although busy, they will stop to offer a friendly hello or have a chat. It's a great place for families with or without kids to visit and dogs are welcome, which is a huge bonus for us. There's a great beach and some water inflatables for those up to the challenge lol.
Kayaks, SUP and paddle boats are included with the rental cost and available to use any time. They also have boat/seadoo rentals available and have started offering a sunset cruise this year, which we will definitely plan for next time! A truly wonderful little slice of paradise :)

If you want a great place to get away as a family/couple this is your spot! The cottages are tidy and well equipped, the beach area has lots of fun entertainment to keep the kids busy all day long and the fishing is phenomenal. The quaint little store has everything you need and the owners are so kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

This is our second visit and it did not dissapoint. Rebecca and Jamie are really great people and they treat you like family. Wildwood is such a cute little spot with a nice beach located on the otonabee river. The water isnt too deep at the beach so it's safe for the kiddies. We enjoyed kayaking, a pontoon rental for a day, bbqs, sunshine, and marshmallows by the campfire. We will be booking this as our annual family vacation spot. They do an amazing job of keeping the place clean and tidy. All the public health standards were followed and it was a safe place to be with our family during these crazy times. Thank you again Rebecca and Jamie we will be seeing you again soon!
