We stayed here Thursday 2nd February for 3 nights, it was just lovely. All rooms are on ground level. The room no 7 a luxury on suite, with small kitchenette was large, warm and very cosy, with everything you could need for a relaxing break. The lounge/ bedroom area had a comfy sofa, a really comfortable bed, table and 2...

We booked this accommodation for a weekend on late rooms as a cheap getaway, not really knowing what to expect. We chose the mid price room at £115 for two nights to get a bigger room. We had hoped for a bigger than double bed as my partner is 6ft 4 but unfortunately it was a standard double. The room...

Great value self catering rooms with everything you could need with the added bonus of being on amazing grounds! very picturesque and surreal knowing your neighbor is a meerkat. We unexpectedly had a free tour of the raptor centre which was a lovely treat, amazing to see some of the owls and birds aswell as a flying show. Breakfast was...

We used the hotel as a base for visiting the Duxford air show over the weekend. The start wasn't good, with a 4 1/2 hour park on the M25 at Dartford Tunnel. So thinking it was a bad omen, we eventually got moving again. The Sat Nav then decided there was an accident on M11 (it lied) so of we...

We visited as a large family. The staff were all so lovely, kind and helpful. The raptor show which runs three times a day was really interesting and showed a range of birds in flight. There is also another area which holds a range of reptiles along with meerkats. We took a picnic which you can eat on benches provided...

enjoyed our stay although the overwhelming use of bleach/strong detergent in the linen was too much for me personally...didn't bother my wife and she slept very well. unique atmosphere amongst the birds of prey.

A real find, close to Cambridge. Very friendly people and most reasonable rooms, especially for couples and families. There's a nice kitchen unit with fridge, microwave, sink and kettle. They provide tea, coffee, and even hot chocolate sachets. The unbranded sachets of fair trade coffee were exceptional! I don't know what brand they were but I only normally drink fresh...

We were visiting the area to attend a wedding and chose Falcon's Nest as it was close to the reception venue. Although the booking in time is from 2.00pm, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and allowed us into the room early to get changed for the wedding after a long car journey. The room had a comfy double...

An unusual place to stay but very comfortable, very clean, very good value. Just what we needed, a quiet place to get away from home for a day and relax. Can't fault it, unfortunately arrived after the centre closed so didn't manage to have a look round at the birds and animals, but looked out of the window in the...
