We had a great stay in a beautiful and authentic setting.
Everything was perfect. A characterful house, an extremely comfortable room with warm decor, charming, caring and caring owners for the well-being of their guests, quality advice for the various Things to do.
We felt at home as soon as we passed the front door, at the first contact with Benedict and Catherine.
We also enjoyed the real moments of exchange and sharing with other holidaymakers during the hearty breakfasts prepared with local and organic products, with each day a new gourmet surprise prepared by our guests. Special mention for Catherine's excellent yogurt!!

To conclude, we spent 10 days in a wonderful little corner of paradise, from which we will keep an unforgettable memory and a very strong desire to return.

Many THANKS to Catherine and Benedict for your kindness.

Marie and Richard

Comfortable cottage well located to enjoy both beautiful hikes in the mid-mountains (Col de la Forclaz with its paragliders and Col de l'Aulp) and the beauties of Lake Annecy (cycle paths, pedal boats, beaches, castles... ) without forgetting the visit to the picturesque old town. The host provides very good advice for tourists who do not know the region. Pleasant surprises for breakfast with organic and local products prepared on site.

Lovely guesthouse hidden in the beautiful French alps. The hosts were fantastic, the rooms cosy, and the breakfast a real treat of homemade cakes and pastries. The location is very good for walking, as many circular routes start at the guesthouse. We will definitely return!

Thank you Catherine and Benoît for your friendly and professional welcome to your beautiful farm, without any false note. We particularly appreciated the beauty of the place, your availability and your kindness, the comfort and space at our disposal, without forgetting the tasty breakfasts... nor the horses!
For sure we will come back. See you soon !

Cradled by cowbells and silence, my stay at Catherine and Benoît went very well. A welcome and advice at the top, a perfect room, a space to warm up something to lean on, there is everything you can need at the Chavane du Plan. And, besides, the view, wherever you turn your head, is beautiful!

we stayed at "Le Chavane" for 2 nights, our room was extremely cosy with lots of selfmade wooden furniture. Our host was very helpful, eg, he proposed a really fine hiking route to the top of the "col de l'Aulp", he provided us with a delicious survival picknick :). The breakfast was another fine experience, he presented us home made bread and other local products. It was very unlike "regular" french breakfast! This b & b is a unique place to stay for nature lovers, we will surely return!
