Overall pretty good. Had a bit of a foul smell but the beds were very comfortable. Parking was great. Location was great. The kids really enjoyed themselves at the nearby water park. Most restaurants closed pretty early.

Stayed a few nights to pick up my son from GSU. Room was big and comfortable. The bathroom was ok but really needs some refurbs. Breakfast was included and typical three star hotel type. Coolest thing was the automatic pancake machine.

They definitely did a great job updating the decor but the room I was in still smelled of must and mold. Bed was comfy and room was big. Coffee was awful basically rust colored water. That would be an would be an easy improvement but I was only there for a night and didn’t pay much:)

Booked this hotel 2 weekends in early May. The first weekend was fine; clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Following weekend (May 9-10) was HORRIBLE! It was graduation weekend at Georgia Southern and I expected to pay a bit more for accommodations, but this property tripled the rate (From $89 to $290) for one night's lodging) but the service was 3 times worse. Twice during the weekend, the elevator did not work. Breakfast left a LOT to be desired; no water, no bread for toast, fake eggs, and the coffee maker ran out of coffee. I could have stayed at a much nicer hotel for a fraction of the price charged for this property that is old, carpets worn and dirty, pool dirty and stinky. Would not recommend this property to anyone and will never stay here again.

Booked a 2-night stay at this hotel for a business trip recently and was instantly hit with the smell of mildew. The front desk staff said it was due to the humidity in the pool area. I looked into the pool area that is right off the lobby and sure enough, mold was everywhere on the doors. The patio outside is filthy and dark. When I checked into my room on the 2nd floor the room also smelled musty. During the evening, my eyes began to get irritated and my allergies kicked in. When I awoke in the morning, I was horrified to find what appeared to be a roach or beetle on the bed. I immediately went downstairs and told the front desk staff about this and showed her a picture. I also restated that the mold was so bad that I was having an allergic reaction to it. She stated it was the pool again (no offer to change room) and stated "we have exterminators out 2 times a month. It is Georgia and we get bugs in" I told her I would be checking out a day early/immediately. I have tried to call and speak with the off-site general manager to no avail He has not returned my calls. Will never stay here again.
